This coop is a very cute design but the wood was not treated with anything, it's thin wood and it splits when u screw through it. The directions were not great and there are so many pieces. Don't waste ur time

First the workmanship is excellent, it is just right for me, for my plans it is a starter coop indoors, in the basement. It is clear to see this coop is not strong enough for outside. But perfect for indoors. The instructions was on the easy side. Many pieces, if you unpack and sort by number, make the assembly part manageable. Total piece of garbage. Don't waste your money. No way you can fit 4-6 chickens... well guess you could if you want to to be walking on top of each other. It is flimsy, the pre-drilled holes are wrong and it is missing hardware. Had to take the piece of crap down to return it. Double the work!

Do not buy this product. The picture/description is not correct. The wood is completely untreated, untouched, not painted or stained, not ready to be outside in the elements. The wood is cheap and mine arrived with many split pieces. It is suuuppeeer small and I doubt 6 hens could fit in here comfortably. The photos are misleading for how big it is. The “asphalt” roof is stapled on and pealing. It was such a pain to try to pack up/return so I agreed to a partial refund and now I’m out like $300 with a product I can’t use. Skip. Don’t buy.
