I've never used stainless-steel hoses before so I thought I would try it out because if you're like me then you're constantly replacing your rubber hose every few years. Not only that, they are heavy (mine is 50 feet), a pain in the rear to coil back up and easily kink. When this hose arrived at my doorstep I was actually surprised at how small and light the box was. I thought for sure it was something else and not the hose but, sure enough, it was. Out of the box it's a nice, lightweight stainless steel that was coiled much, much smaller than I could ever get a regular rubber/vinyl garden hose. When I say it is light it is REALLY light. The whole thing - including the box, the hose, the sprayer and the rubber gaskets - only came in at 3 lbs, 2oz! A similar sized 25 ft hose would come in roughly 3x heavier. The hose also comes with a 10-pattern hose nozzle and 4 spare rubber gaskets for a total of 5 including the one already installed in the hose. The hose also has protective rubber coatings on the ends as well to resist the constant bending at the connection. I did an initial test run I can absolutely say this is such a breeze to work with. It is light to move around, moves easy across the surface (cement and grass) and DOES NOT kink at all. With the sprayer on, it functions just like my normal rubber hose and I did not notice any less water pressure with the spray on than I normally get with my rubber hose. I'm also happy to report that the hose did not have any leaks in it either. The only downside to this is the hose itself is smaller in diameter than a regular rubber/vinyl hose. So what this means is that if you're using this to fill a pool, a hot tub or even a small 5 gallon bucket it will take longer. On average, a rubber hose will fill a 5 gallon bucket in about 40-45 seconds where this took almost 65 seconds. Now, I don't have a hot tub or a pool so I don't have to worry about that, but if you do you might want to switch to the wider diameter rubbery/vinyl hose if you have one. With the sprayer on, though, I've noticed no difference in water pressure between my rubber hose and this one. And that is what I simply use this for - watering my garden, grass or flowers. As far as being able to test out its rust resistance and durability through Wisconsin winters only time will tell so I can't attest to any of that at the moment. However, I don't anticipate any problems since it is stainless steel. I'm actually more worried about leaks than I am about rust, though. We'll see. I'll update my review should anything not meet my expectations regarding that. I'm glad I picked this up for now, though, and I am kicking myself for not discovering these stainless-steel hoses earlier. Simply put, it is so much easier to work with and it's literally kink-free. Those two reasons alone are worth the cost.

Say goodbye to tangled messes and leaky nightmares! After using this 50ft Metal Garden Hose, I can confidently say it's become a trusted partner for all my outdoor waterflow needs. From watering my little side garden to washing the car to hosing down my walkways and driveway, it is so much better than your average flimsy plastic hose. My last hose was literally so tangled that I spent over 20 minutes trying to get it undone a few weeks ago, all to no avail. I was so fatigued and frustrated that I dumped it in the recycle bin and started looking for a better solution. I found it with this hose and its unique spiral design that eliminates kinks entirely. Coiling and maneuvering are no problem, making even ambitious watering tasks a joy. Plus, its lightweight nature means no more straining my back as I navigate the yard. Another plus was no more dripping connections and frustrating leaks. The upgraded 3/4-inch connectors have provided a secure, leakproof fit on my standard outdoor faucet. I love that they're also built to last, resisting rust and corrosion. The handy nozzle with 10 spray patterns is a nice inclusion and lets me tackle any watering need, from gentle misting to powerful jet streams. I will say it’s not the most top of the line nozzle I’ve ever used, so while I have high hopes, I won’t be too upset if it fails eventually, and I’ll just replace it with a metal one. I was eager to ditch the disposable plastic hoses that crack and leak so easily these days. While this one is pretty sturdy, I wouldn’t risk running it over with the car or stomping on it with workboots but I feel this metal hose is built to endure, making it an eco-friendly investment. Its space-saving design coils neatly for easy storage, freeing up precious space in the garage. Stainless steel construction isn't just for looks (although it is far more attractive than the usual ugly green plastic); it's the key to this hose's durability. It shrugs off punctures, sharp corners, and even dragging across rough surfaces with ease. No more worrying about accidental tears or leaks – this hose seems ready for almost anything I use it for. If you're looking for a reliable, flexible, and eco-friendly hose that conquers every watering task, this hose is worth considering. With its leakproof design, easy maneuverability, and durable construction, I’m expecting it to be an investment that will pay off season after season and if anything does happen, the excellent after-sales service is an added bonus, ensuring a worry-free experience.
