Update: After having problems communicating with the company due to inability to validate my account - they responded to my email and resolved the problem. Installation was ease and sharing with family members worked well - including verification. One hint - if you change internet connection, you have to reset and reinstall each camera. ================================================= The cameras arrived as expected and look really nice. I followed instructions and downloaded the required app to my iPhone and created an account. However, I did not receive the required verification email after many attempts and various emails (checked junk mail and still nothing). I then tried their alternate method by using my phone number - same problem, never received the required text with verification code after several attempts and several phone numbers. I then sent an email to the address listed on their app and it was immediately returned as undeliverable. By now, I'm thinking that the company is out of business and I should return the cameras. I finally went to their website and found an alternate email address for USA and re-sent the email plus sent another email to let them know that the email in the app was not correct. Now, it's the next day and no response to either email. While the cameras may be great - the app and customer service are not working out, I will be returning the cameras if I don't hear back from the company by tomorrow. ... show more

After using the SimpliSafe monitoring system in my home for years, I decided to take a chance on Amazon-purchased cameras for the first time. I was mainly in the market for a couple of cameras to be able to "keep an eye" on an elderly person. When I started my search on Amazon, these cameras were among the first to populate. After reading a few positive and negative reviews, I decided to pull the trigger and purchase them. They have turned out to be a great investment so far. Here are some of the pros and cons I noticed so far. Packaging and Installation: The box they came in is sturdy and neatly organized. The cameras are straightforward to install, and the instructions are simple. It is unlikely to have any issues assembling these, even if you have little to no experience setting up cameras or with technology in general. Functionality and Performance: The cameras work splendidly when there is plenty of day or artificial light. The view is, for the most part, crisp and well-defined. Likewise, the picture quality with the night vision is decent. However, if the cameras are too close to a light source when the room is dark, they will likely reflect the circuit board where the lens is mounted. This isn't a huge deal as you can still see clearly most things around it. However, it is somewhat annoying. Although, now and then, it takes a while for it to respond, I like the feature that allows you to rotate the position of the lens 360 degrees right from your phone. This feature mimics that of a joystick in a video game controller. It is possible that the lag is due to issues with the internet connection. The devices also allow you to take stills and videos, which are saved directly to your phone. It is worth noting that the company also offers a cloud storage service for an additional fee. They also come with a microphone to communicate through the camera. I love this feature as it allows me to control Alexa remotely to turn on TVs, shut off lights, play music, turn on the news, etc. It would be ideal if the company would develop a way to access these devices through your computer in addition to your phone. But all in all, these cameras are an excellent choice if you are not looking to spend much money on complicated monitoring systems. I recommend it. ... show more

    • Great PTZ cameras extremely easy setup

These cameras are extremely easy to set up they are Plug and Play it takes about 2 to 3 minutes to configure them to the network for 1 minute to mount them and then I would say another few minutes to configure your specific settings it allows you to have certain zones so the camera can automatically point in specified directions that you already programmed in or you can use the control stick to move the camera in whichever direction you want the viewing angle is absolutely amazing the video quality is up to par for a wireless camera indoor use seems to be great I would like to try one of their outdoor cameras to see the quality and maybe even replace my entire outdoor camera system with these products along with the app being very easy to use the only problem is you need two accounts so me and my wife just created two accounts instead of sharing one no biggie ... show more

I bought these cameras to keep an eye on the dogs when I'm not home. I had read reviews on multiple cameras and decided on these because the price was low at ~$20 per camera and had good reviews. I am pretty impressed with the cameras - I love the ability to move the camera lens from the app to scan the room and also the ability to zoom with the video. There is a quick view where you can see what's happening on all the cameras so I look there first to see where the dogs are, then go back and pull up the camera in the room that they are in. I also really like the clarity of the picture. One of my cameras faces an area that get direct sunlight in the late morning and loses picture clarity in that area for awhile, but I don't consider that a problem since it doesn't happen often during the day. Overall, I am impressed with the features that are included given the relatively low price of the camera. The other thing that I liked about the cameras is that when there was a power outage at my house and the cameras went offline, when the power came back up the cameras came back as well without any intervention from me. I haven't subscribed to the online service so I can't speak to that. I'm not sure if I will subscribe to it as the cameras are working for me as I'd like them to without it.
