Best space heater ever!

These heaters are lifesavers! My 25 year old furnace finally gave out and it couldn't be repaired. I bought these, unfortunately the shipping time was awful, but when I finally received them and plugged them in, wow, they were able to raise the tempature of 3 large rooms and a bathroom from 45 degrees to 74 degrees within 4 hours. Just keep in mind, depending on how cold your house is, it will take a little time for the heat to make it throughout the area to warm it up to the same consistent temperature. We are in the beginning of a cold front, it's 0 degrees out right now, and my house is 74 degrees. I'm still amazed. I read another reviewers purchase review about his heater crapping out and buying this and what it did. I was skeptical, I have an 1800 sq ft house so I figured it might be able to warm up one room. Man was I wrong. If you have a smaller house, one will do the trick, but if you have a bigger house, it would be wise to purchase 2 of these amazing little wonders. I could go on and on about how happy I am with these heaters, but I think you get the idea. Just one small con, and this is not the fault of the heater, but when you go to plug it in make sure your outlet can hold 1500 watts. I tried to plug one into the living room outlet, where there is a lot of stuff plugged in, it caused my circuit to break in that room so I had to run outside in the cold to switch it back on. (If I would have read the directions thoroughly and not just skimmed through it, the directions told me this could happen). The noise level is very minimal, like a very small fan and the controls are great, you can select the degrees that you want all the way up to 95 and they are large enough to read without straining your eyes. One more thing, make sure to plug it straight into the outlet and not an extension cord or surge protector because of the amount of amps the plug uses. ... show more

I bought the GAIATOP Space Heater for our icy cold basement, which I’m pretty sure doubles as a penguin habitat. This little heater works so well, I half expected to hear complaints from the penguins about the sudden heatwave. Within minutes, the room went from "Arctic Expedition" to "Tropical Paradise," and I can confidently say I no longer fear frostbite while folding laundry. It’s compact, quiet, and throws off heat like it’s got something to prove. Honestly, I think it’s competing with the sun. I even had to ask it to tone it down a little—it’s that good. The only downside is that my kids now think the basement is the coolest (well, warmest) hangout in the house, and I’ve lost my peaceful, chilly retreat. Great space heater for a good price. Remote control included.

This is a great little heater for small spaces. It works great. It has 3 power levels for heating, 600, 900 and 1500 watts. It comes with a small remote control that allows you to turn it up, down or off/on. It has an oscillation function. The temperature is set using degrees, I am not sure what the maximum or minimum temperatures can be set at. I keep it set between 68 and 72 without oscillating. It probably has a fan only function, but I don’t really have use for that. I will probably be buying one or two more of these heaters early next year. ... show more

Doesn’t last company worthless

Edited for update: This heater lasted not even 6 weeks. When I reached out to the company, they were of no help. I ended up going back to DREO, though a bit more expensive, they’re reliable and last much longer than 6weeks. My furnace went out and I can’t afford a new one. This heater keeps my bedroom nice and warm. So warm that you’d never know that my furnace doesn’t work and it’s 7 degrees outside. If I bring it downstairs into the kitchen, so I don’t freeze while cooking, then it doesn’t warm anything up. Kitchen is large and open on 2 sides. I’d need to get a second heater, which i hope Santa brings because it’s out of my budget. But I absolutely love it in my large bedroom. I love the safety features, it turns off after 24 hrs of running without adjusting the temperature. The remote makes it easy to turn back on without having to get out of bed. It’s amazing that this one space heater heats up a bedroom of this size (my dad knocked the wall down between two bedrooms to make it 1 very large room) plus the heat goes into the master bathroom making showers delightful and no cold toilet seats. ... show more

Plenty of heat in a small form factor

For some reason, the primary bedroom in our home is always colder than the rest of the main level, so we often need a space heater in the winter. Unlike other ones we've used, this heater has easy to read buttons. It's small, but puts out a good amount of heat, and I actually ended up getting a second one for my basement office. I accidentally knocked it over recently, and even though it was off it still beeped a warning. The device itself is light and a handle on the back makes it easy to move. We've only had them for a few months so I can't comment yet on longevity, but so far I'm happy with the performance, particularly at this price. ... show more
