These heaters are lifesavers! My 25 year old furnace finally gave out and it couldn't be repaired. I bought these, unfortunately the shipping time was awful, but when I finally received them and plugged them in, wow, they were able to raise the tempature of 3 large rooms and a bathroom from 45 degrees to 74 degrees within 4 hours. Just keep in mind, depending on how cold your house is, it will take a little time for the heat to make it throughout the area to warm it up to the same consistent temperature. We are in the beginning of a cold front, it's 0 degrees out right now, and my house is 74 degrees. I'm still amazed. I read another reviewers purchase review about his heater crapping out and buying this and what it did. I was skeptical, I have an 1800 sq ft house so I figured it might be able to warm up one room. Man was I wrong. If you have a smaller house, one will do the trick, but if you have a bigger house, it would be wise to purchase 2 of these amazing little wonders. I could go on and on about how happy I am with these heaters, but I think you get the idea. Just one small con, and this is not the fault of the heater, but when you go to plug it in make sure your outlet can hold 1500 watts. I tried to plug one into the living room outlet, where there is a lot of stuff plugged in, it caused my circuit to break in that room so I had to run outside in the cold to switch it back on. (If I would have read the directions thoroughly and not just skimmed through it, the directions told me this could happen). The noise level is very minimal, like a very small fan and the controls are great, you can select the degrees that you want all the way up to 95 and they are large enough to read without straining your eyes. One more thing, make sure to plug it straight into the outlet and not an extension cord or surge protector because of the amount of amps the plug uses.

This is a great little heater for small spaces. It works great. It has 3 power levels for heating, 600, 900 and 1500 watts. It comes with a small remote control that allows you to turn it up, down or off/on. It has an oscillation function. The temperature is set using degrees, I am not sure what the maximum or minimum temperatures can be set at. I keep it set between 68 and 72 without oscillating. It probably has a fan only function, but I don’t really have use for that. I will probably be buying one or two more of these heaters early next year.

The problem with most space heaters is you need to be aware of the dimensions of the room you want to warm. I placed this heater in a room measuring 10'x10'x8'. When the outside temperature is below 32°F (water freezing point), this heater can run for hours, set at 41°F and still keep you very toasty. (Of course, if your insulation is efficient, this shouldn't be a problem, but it is good to know, in areas of poor insulation, this heater can keep you (very) warm. If your total space is too large, of course, it isn't going to heat efficiently. You can set the thermostat anywhere between 41° and 95°F. Includes a remote control, but can suffer from interference from other remotes. The remote can operate the heater from up to 33' away. This heater can point in a single direction or oscillate, providing more coverage area. It has economy/power-saving mode and a multi-setting timer, woth a 12-hour maximum setting.. When new, you will need to run the heater for several hours to dissipate the "burning plastic" smell that ofen accompanies new space heaters, while you are breaking them in. One significant note: when you power down, you will see an illuminated 20-second count down, to give the heating element some time to cool down. While this is an excellent efficiency, if you are trying to sleep, it can be an annoyance.

My furnace went out and I can’t afford a new one. This heater keeps my bedroom nice and warm. So warm that you’d never know that my furnace doesn’t work and it’s 7 degrees outside. If I bring it downstairs into the kitchen, so I don’t freeze while cooking, then it doesn’t warm anything up. Kitchen is large and open on 2 sides. I’d need to get a second heater, which i hope Santa brings because it’s out of my budget. But I absolutely love it in my large bedroom. I love the safety features, it turns off after 24 hrs of running without adjusting the temperature. The remote makes it easy to turn back on without having to get out of bed. It’s amazing that this one space heater heats up a bedroom of this size (my dad knocked the wall down between two bedrooms to make it 1 very large room) plus the heat goes into the master bathroom making showers delightful and no cold toilet seats.

I've been trying to move away from heating with gas to using room heaters. My main issue is I have to make sure I don't pull more that 1500W or I'll blow a fuse. This unit fits the bill. The heat output is very good and it is quieter than my other units. I also appreciate that it has more settings than other units. For example, I can set 68 degrees as opposed to "medium". The LED is a plus as you can press a button on the remote to see details. It also turns off the LED after a short time. The device does have a remote as well as buttons on the unit. However, I do find the range of the remote to be less than other units I have. From my perspective, this unit provides solid value.
