I'm new to grilling, but wanted to give this a shot as I plan to grill drumsticks fairly often. This thing is really nice for a few reasons. *UPDATE* The seller sent me a replacement about a week later without me asking just based on my review. The new one I received wasnt damaged like the first one and worked great. Ive used it in my oven and my vertical smoker several times with no issues and great results. I spray it lightly with a little oil before using and it washes up super easy. Now that Ive had a chance to test it for a few months, Ill probably order a couple more for using in my smoker. Just received my chicken leg rack and straight out of the box, all the tabs for the stand are bent up pretty bad. No damage to the box, just the stand inside. The tabs are pretty flimsy and probably wont last long after I bend them back. ... show more

    • great idea...w/some adjustments
I've used 2x, so far and learned where the legs hang from needs to be wrapped w/alum foil or whatever it takes to make the legs easier to remove...and easier to clean afterward. Otherwise, it's really a great way to cook...DON"T over cook or chicken gets too dry. I wrap alum foil around the sides...throw some veggies in the tray (yeah, they cook in chicken fat; but, that's what tastes so good! A cheap little device to add some ease. ... show more

DURING THE COOKING PROCESS WHEN THE LEGS BECAME SMALLER IS SIZE, SOME OF THEM FELL OFF OF THE RACK. THEY BASICALLY STAYED ON THE TRAY BELOW, BUT THEY DIDN'T ROAST AS WELL. ALSO, THE DRIP PAN IS TOO SHALLOW SO THE DRIPPING MAY OVERFLOW IF NOT EMPTIED SOME TIME DURING THE COOKING PROCESS. I LIKE THE CONCEPT BECAUSE YOU'RE AIR FRYING WITHOUT COATING THE MEAT AND THE END RESULT IS CRISPY AND JUICY, BUT THERE SHOULD BE A WAY TO PREVENT THE PREVIOUSLY STATED ISSUES. ... show more

It’s a really cool little tool for grilling chicken legs. I will say you need to wrap the tray with aluminum foil as it’s not very easy to clean. Also I sprayed the rack with Pam. Makes cleaning easier. The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is had to exchange one that broke the first time I used it. All in all I love it! ... show more

Used many times. Haven’t used the tray, cuz who needs veggies? But I like it. Good wings have been produced. Easy to clean which is important. Also, wings don’t slip through, which is also important.
