All I wanted was a nice chair for my gaming and computer use. I am a picky shopper so I spent about a week looking at different chairs, different prices, and especially the reviews on them. I ultimately decided upon this chair because it was the color I wanted(black -- like my soul >:) ) and it was within my price range with pretty decent reviews. So, today after work this thing landed on my porch. I was expecting a headache putting it together. I have had issues in the past with instructions. In the past I have been known to act out like a toddler because I get frustrated with the instructions. Well, I had no issues here. My reading comprehension is decent, at least I like to think so! So yeah, I had no issues putting this together. All the parts were there and I simply followed along. There were times when I was like "wait, what part am I supposed to put here?" but I figured it out with a little patience. This thing took me about twenty minutes to put together and I am proud of this. I really wish I had someone around here to give me some applause for a job well done because I think I deserve it. I do! The chair is comfortable to sit in. I probably won't be living on it like some gamers out there -- but it will suffice for what I want to use it for. I just want to use the internet and play my games in comfort. This won't make me a better gamer but when I die in World of Warcraft at least I will be comfortable in real life.     • Broke within 90 Days
This was a Christmas Present for a 150# teenager. Assembly was fairly easily, took about 30 minutes. Problem is that the back broke off from the bottom plate on the right side. now the back is no good. They say this has a good warranty, however clicking links just send you in a circle. If there is a contact for warranty issues that would be helpful. Have a red version that also broke in the same place. ... show more

Well, I've had the chair for two or three months now and it's time for a real assessment of it. I don't like it and I will replace it. Pros: The elastic on the backrest and headrest is still solid, I figure the janky structure wouldn't last a month. The chair does get nice and high. Cons: You have to sit a pretty specific way for the chair to be comfortable, which isn't always realistic when working at a desk for hours. Doesn't get very low and doesn't stay high, 3 months in and already the gas cylinder can't hold it's height adjust. I went for the knock-off of the higher end gaming chairs and now I am paying for it. To be fair, IF I was only console gaming (where I could sit back, straight and chair height wasn't a factor) this chair would be fine, actually good, even for the price. But for multi-use gaming (PC and Console) and computer work, it just isn't fitting the bill. So just be aware before purchasing. Console gaming only? 4 stars! Multi-use deck/PC chair? 1 star. *EDIT* The company never offered to send me a new gas cylinder (or even the option to buy one). What they did offer was 50% refund IF I removed my negative review. So yeah, take that into account when perusing all of the positive reviews. **EDIT** This chair lasted until December (Not even one year) and then the gas cylinder completely gave out and would never stay up, and would just immediately compress. The chair became more and more shaky/rickety too, despite constant retightening until, finally, it was unusable. This is junk. ... show more

    • Comfortable, good quality, super easy to put together!!

Surprised on how good the quality is honestly! It’s made well, easy to put together, love it so far. I am having a problem with the rocking feature as mine won’t work and it’s locked in place, the tilt works and everything else works but that. Put an email into the seller hopefully they can help me fix it. But other than that small problem the chair is awesome! Pretty comfy even tho it’s not broken in yet. The non adjustable arm rests are kind of annoying but something I can easily work with. Butts up to my gaming desk quiet nicely, just put in my first session using it and it’s way more comfortable than the leather office chair I was using! I got it for 109$ shipped couldn’t be happier. Almost pulled the trigger on a 315$ chair from Corsair and I’m glad my gf complained about the money I was about to spend, I didn’t think there would be a decent option out there at a reasonable price. This fits the bill, great price, good quality and the most important part it’s comfy during long gaming sessions. When it gets broken in it will be even better. If your looking for a chair that won’t break the bank, you’ve found it. Don’t hesitate to buy it, you’ll love it just like I am. I’m 6ft tall and 185 lbs and I fit in it quiet well. When putting it together there are slight adjustments so you can make it a little taller or shorter. Just leave everything loose when installing it until you find the right back height. I’m not using the pillows included with it as they make it extremely uncomfortable. It does tilt way way way back, so much it feels like your going to fall backwards but I haven’t yet! It’s comfortable enough to sleep in honestly if you have back problems. If you need a gaming chair, buy it. I’d you don’t like it send it back! Just keep the box until you decide ;) ... show more

It took them close to an hour to assemble. One son is 6'6" and the other is 6'3". They said they are very comfortable and enjoy them. Good buy for the price. I'm not sure about long term use. This was after only a week.

I am entirely happy with this chair! (now that I fixed it) Price, comfort, adjustability all great out of the box. But like many reviewers, my chair squeaked enough to wake the dead. I sprayed the spring steel and pivot points with Teflon spray and it didn't even touch the squeak. What I finally did was to get my specialty screw bit ratchet set and tightened the HELL out of all the chair platform bolts. They were all extremely loose after using the included Allen wrench tool to assemble the chair. There is no way to get enough torque to tighten the bolts sufficiently with the little Allen wrench. Once I got them extra tight, no more squeak! Hope this helps. ... show more
