This was a purchase that was a great buy for y purpose. This was about to be a 4 star review due to the water pump casing being cracked and leaking water. I contacted Amazon and they were able to send a message to Funcucle and a new pump arrived 3 days later. That standing by your product means a lot to me as a consumer. The pool is heavy duty and I found that purchasing this made me go get a handheld air pump. I had to back my car up onto the lawn to use the tire pump I keep in my vehicle. The problem is the hose was too short and I do not want my neighbor upset seeing my car tire tracks running over the lawn leaving tire tracks. Fair warning, do your best to make sure the ground is flat and level. Well, more so level. The water will over flow the rim if the water is not filling at a level angle. It is pretty coo to watch the little total wave as it escapes the pool. I did have a small electric tiller. So I recommend setting the ground and going the area until it is somewhat level. I personally used the dirt and debris to form an inclined barrier. That kept the water stable enough for the pool to fil up. One note for kids. Let them know that the pool is inflatable. The boys leaned or something to where they landed on the pool inflatable rib and that was the second time the pool emptied. That’s 5000+ gallons. The results are, the kids love the pool, the pump is working as expected and the recent heat wave was not even a factor with a pool. Side note. I did buy a 20x20 tarp and a 10’ x 20’ tarp to serve as a runner. I placed on of the corners of my runner under the pool so if the wind pulls up y other staked down edge due to heavy wind, the tar will not be blown away. The pool is large and can handle 6 to 8 people comfortably. Please note that on pouch of shock treats 13,500 gallons of water and my pool is 5,000 gallons. This is the HTC brand.i also brought and I think I have enough shock for a few years. One third of the bag means treatments available for the 3 weeks per bag. So I purchased the chlorine tablets as individual for this first week and I will have some other treatment to add here soon. I found pool accessories on Amazon that is convenient as well. A pool skier is a hat, even though I have a cover, I a cautious of using the cover on a inflatable rib pool that a strong gust of wind could take my pool cover to be with my Weber grill cover that ran away from home because I did not secure it well enough so it decided to take a trip and fly like an eagle.

Let’s say that you’ve worked really hard and leveled off this ground. And you put this thing down at the start filling it with water that still doesn’t mean that the sides are going to come up like they should at least they didn’t for me. And I’ve had one problem with it after another. It’s very thin so you gotta make sure you lay down things underneath! I laid down several layers of thick plastic. And then I put down a thick tarp that I had to buy. I put blocks in the corners on the sides and started filling this thing up. Of course I rototilled the ground before that too, and I raked it and I tried to get on anything I could put. But, this plastic is still very thin. Even with all that you could kind of feel underneath when you walked around inside of it when you put your 1st inch of water in there, you can still fill the ground. I felt couple of things that were just weeds but I pulled up the plastic pulled out those weeds, even though they were cut and raked, there was just what was left of them and I could tell with The bottom of my foot that this was going to be a problem. Then start filling it and I have to tell you, you have to be careful because sometimes the water in it just starts to move in such a way that one side starts to be a little lower at the bottom. It’s just cause you’re filling up with water, even if the ground is level. it’s a headache because you gotta keep going out there putting the water in and pulling this thing up and making sure that it’s even. At least, I had to. It Still looked like it might be leaking.. I first started filling it. One side for some reason just sort of let the water flow out this was after it ran for a couple of hours and the thing was maybe a foot high all around but one side for some reason most of the water spilled out on the lawn. I had to go back outside at night pull up that side even though everything was even just didn’t flow right. And the next thing is to start filling it up and I have to keep running it and shutting it off running and shut it off when I go away I don’t wanna keep it running the water. you just don’t know what’s gonna happen. It’s not like filling up the pool that is building a frame! So then I return and I start filling it up and it starts taking shape. After a few hours take some more shape. And then it’s got me wondering is this thing is gonna ever be even why is one-sided sticking out more than the other it’s not that side is low or anything? That just doesn’t make a lot of sense to me except that it’s the way it’s built, it’s not inside of any sort of frame. When it was filled I realized that if anybody got in and moved around that whole inflatable ring at the top and say, oh, certain number of inches maybe a foot below that is all shaking! The pool is not stationary. And that’s when I realized why they told you not to fill it any higher than the bottom of the ring (which I hadn’t), because they said you’d lose water. My friend, this thing doesn’t maintain its shape! that’s very important to know. This thing does not maintain its shape. This thing does not maintain its shape! So I think, adults can’t get in this thing because it’ll just fall apart or shake and spill. An adult can’t get in there and splash around or anything. I’ve been led to believe that an adult can do that. Now, here comes more trouble: I then went to put the filter and guess what? The filter doesn’t work! I followed the directions. Plugging it in adjusting it pushing buttons (by the way, every time you turn on the filter every time I plug it into use it, they want me to unplug it, plug it in and then start pushing buttons on the power supply. Have you ever heard of anything like that? You know there’s a test and then there’s another test or something and then there’s something to get it going.I went through through this repeatedly. The Filter does not work!!!!! This means that if I replace the filter it will take time to get another one. By the way, most of the filter hose hook ups to the pool are not dripping, but one is! and also where it hooks up to the filter it’s dripping there. Don’t tell me I didn’t hook it up right because why are the others working perfectly fine? Ow, get another filter? let’s see: if this one’s replaced then I don’t know how long that’s gonna take a few days OK so hopefully the water will stay clear enough for little kids to swim in it but think about it it shouldn’t be that way that was something new!!?,! When a replacement comes I’m gonna have to unattached those hoses. If I don’t have somebody helping me holding those hoses upward above the I got the pool then I’m gonna be holding a new filter in those hoses and water is gonna be poured out all over the place. I gotta get wet and everything around me is gonna get wet, while I’m losing pool water. This will bring down the water level and thus, the height of the sides! It will cause the pool to lose more of a structural integrity. And believe me, I am using the phrase is structural integrity which this pool just doesn’t have anyway! I’m dictating this because I’m very upset and I know that spellcheck is taking some of the words and misspelled them or put other words where I said something else if you know what I mean? But I’m just really upset. I’ve had it with this. So now I got all set up and of course I threw the big boxes away. I’m somehow going to have to find out how to return this monstrosity after a little water out of it if they ask me to put it in a box do I have the original box blah blah blah I’d be very happy if I could take this pool and this filter and bring it to whoever makes these things and just dump it on their head. That’s how disgusted I am. I also have to say that I live in Texas it is 102° out during the day but I think I’m showing a lot of patience regardless of the heat. If I had known any of this I would never have bought this pool. If you can call it a pool. It’s sort of a glorified inflatable kiddie pool that is badly designed. So if I were you you think I would buy it? Do you think I would say this is exactly what I’ve been looking for? Oh goody! oh wonderful! oh joy! here is the wonderful little pool I’ve been looking for? Buy it? Well, I’m leaving that up to you.

The pool is nice for the price and setup was straight forward. It seems to be made with good materials and lasted the whole summer (up in Chicagoland). I'm sure this would last at least a couple of seasons. I would definitely purchase this again.

We have a small backyard, but still wanted something to cool off in during the summer. This pool was a fairly easy set up with clear directions. The only thing slightly more difficult was smoothing the bottom so the liner was not rippled. We have a cement slab and did not need to level out the ground or add a pad. The pump works ok, but you still need chlorine to keep algae away and a net for skimming the top. Even though it’s small it still takes some maintenance because draining and refilling it takes time. This pool is great size for 2-4 adults to just dip in or 2 people if on a float. It would be even better for kids. Love that we can break down easily and store for next summer without it taking up space all year round. My one complaint would be that the water gets warm if you live somewhere that is hot. We had several days of 100+ heat and the pool was like bath water. We just emptied it halfway and refilled with cold water.

So much fun with this! I bought the cotton balls for pool filter - removed filter and put them in. It helps clean water much better. Nice pool- perfect for our temporary needs.

Well it set up easy especially considering I only have full use of one arm! Too bad after we filled it up with water I discovered a air leak beside nozzle in top section so it will probably be impossible to stop air leak after taking several hours to fill with water thanks Now what

This pool was very easy to set up, I did it all by myself in just a short time. It did take about six hours to fill the pool with the hose. This pool did nothing to warm the water so best to figure out a way to do that yourself. The depth was too deep for me to sit on the bottom and be able to breath (I'm 5'4") and came up to my crotch when standing. Ones of the important things to remember about this pool is that it is 12' on the bottom, but the sides angle inwards and I would say this pool is really only about 10' in diameter. This is important to know when buying a cover for the pool. The ring stayed completely filled and floated all summer long. We live in Wisconsin so we completely drain this pool rolled it up and put it in our shed for the winter. The next spring when I went to bring it out and fill the inner tube with air I noticed that it deflated halfway within an hour or two. I was shocked at this since it sat on used in our shed all winter, how could I have holes? I searched and searched and searched and searched for these holes but was only able to find two. I used all the tricks in the book to try and find the holes in this inner tube but I could not. I can tell you that the pool will stay filled even if the inner tube is only half full of air. All summer long every single day I had to pump this up and all summer long every single day it deflated. However the pool never broke or drained on its own. I should also state that the holes were in the inner tube not the lining of the pool. I was able to enjoy a second summer with this pool however it was a very frustrating summer as that inner tube deflated within an hour after filling. After the summer was over we threw it away. With a product like this I expected to last longer than one summer so I do not feel like this was worth the money especially since I took the time to care for it when winterizing it. This summer I'll be looking for a pool that has steel poles instead of inflatable.
