Fit is good for needing support for the mid-section. I don't need the extra pieces that are supposed to tighten up more, So I just let them hang behind me. I don't want to cut them off yet but probably will since they get in the way.

My husband has 2 EXTREMELY large hernias due to prior abdominal surgeries. Because he twice had a severe abdominal infection (C Diff) and is susceptible to getting it again, surgeons will not operate on him citing his hernias as being 'cosmetic' and too risky. I'm not exaggerating (or making fun of him) when i say he looks like he is pregnant with a number of babies, he's that large. Between the hernias sticking so far out and his belly is what looks like a stump connecting the two. Its bad. REALLY bad. He initially tried a large wrap (like an Ace bandage) which was comfortable and didn't itch but provided no support. He then tried an abdominal binder (different brand) that didn't quite look or fit like this one but did provide minimal support and was itchy. When I saw this one I figured it couldn't hurt to try though we weren't expecting much. SO very glad I ordered it. I went with size XL and guess what? IT FITS! It fits around his belly, the 'stump' and the hernia bulge. And it fits comfortably while providing support and helping to keep the hernia area from jiggling/bouncing/flopping/moving too much. He's able to wear his regular clothing as well. He did experience some light itching but it turned out to be a tag that I was able to remove. I can't tell you how happy he is now to have some help with these hernias. He feels better and isn't quite as self-conscious as he had been. Not only does it work very well, it costs less than the first wrap and first abdominal binder he tried. Talk about a 'win-win' situation! I HIGHLY recommend this binder. *I do wish that I had photos to accompany this review so you could see for yourself but he wasn't comfortable with me taking /posting photos, even with his face not showing*

TLDR Easy to put on, comfortable to wear, and provides strong, even compression with added back support. This binder fits really easily and goes on without any hassle, which is a big deal for something you might be using daily. It’s comfortable once it’s on and doesn’t feel restrictive or annoying to wear for longer periods. I really like the double-binder design because it makes everything feel very secure around the abdominal area instead of loose or shifting around. I’ll be honest, I was a little disappointed I didn’t instantly turn into the model with a six-pack and pecs when I put it on, but apparently that’s not how this works. On a real note, it feels like it would be great for post-surgery recovery or hernia support because it provides consistent, even compression across the entire midsection. It also seems to give a bit of lower back and spinal support, which I didn’t expect but definitely noticed. Overall, it feels well made, supportive, and comfortable enough to actually use regularly, which is exactly what you want from something like this.

I purchased the Funcy Abdominal Binder for my mother-in-law after her hernia surgery, and it’s made a world of difference for her. She was initially worried about feeling uncomfortable while healing, but this binder has provided just the right amount of support without being too tight. This is a great quality abdominal binder by Funcy. I know the caption states it is for men but I believe this is great for women too especially post surgery. I got this for my husband but I tried it on when it arrived and it fits he and I very well. I find it to be comfortable and not slide very much as I bent over and when I sit. It's good it stays in place well and the velcro is extremely strong. I was impressed with that right away. I was relieved to find a binder in this size because normally, we don't come across ones that are XL or fit correctly. This is great and extremely helpful. Material is really nice quality. I think something like this would be good even after recovery because I found it helps with posture as well. Easy to wear clothes over this. It doesn't snug at them and there isn't any annoying uncomfortable feeling with this. Husband is quite pleased with this and I am glad to have it here in case I ever need it. Can definitely recommend.

This is perfect to be used after any type of abdominal surgery. It seems to run true to size and the width provides excellent coverage, support and stability. It is very thin and not bulky at all. It was worn over clothes and was comfortable. Unlike the one we received from the hospital, this one is more generously-sized, and much easier to put on. It is a double wrap system so first you wrap the wider section around, and then the narrower section, which you can secure even tighter if desired. The Velcro seemed to hold very securely. Overall we were very happy with the binder and it seemed like a good value for the price.
