This pillow was an absolute savior after my hysterectomy surgery. It easily attaches to a seat belt. It provided much needed comfort on the ride home from the hospital and beyond. I’ve used it daily during my recovery. Along with a heating pad (sold separately) which inserts inside a Velcro pouch. I followed their initial instructions to allow it to plump up. I had to have an open myomectomy, and this has been a life saver. It helped make the 30 minute ride home from the hospital more bearable. I have also kept it over my abdomen while sitting/laying down to help keep my cat from walking on me. It has also helped when I have had coughing fits to help apply soft pressure. At the time of this review, I am only one week post operation, and this has been needed and used daily at home. I plan to continue using all throughout my recovery. This little pillow was my best friend after my hysterectomy! I used it often and it was worth every penny. I used it with a gel ice pack to help with the swelling. And I used it in the car with the seatbelt, helped me so much!

This little pillow was my best friend and constant companion after I had a total hysterectomy. Not only did I use it on the car ride home from the hospital and when I first began to drive again after surgery, but I used it daily and nightly in bed to support my sore belly and supply some support and a buffer for my incisions. My wife bought this for her post op abdominal surgery. It’s a great idea and concept however she expected a bit more for the price. By that I mean it wasn’t very fluffy to provide protection. You don’t want it too bulky understood however this was lacking a bit. Otherwise she liked the colors and the ability to put an ice pack and or heating pack inside and also the attachment to the seat belt. Oh my goodness- this was a life saver on the way home from the hospital and during the first few weeks post c-section! It keeps the seatbelt off the incision, but it’s also great to press against the incision when going over speed bumps or a train track. I was looking for ways to make things after my hysterectomy better and this was a good find. I was able to use it after more when recovering than for my seatbelt. I would use it when I was in bed to help ease a bit of pain with an icepack and was so thankful for it. The main reason is my husband forgot the pillow when he was picking me up, but I had an icepack from the hospital that worked fine for the ride home. The nice pouch for the ice pack was easy to open and stayed closed with the Velcro with no issues. I am glad I purchased this. I cannot use my seat belt without it. It is soft and comfortable. You also don't have to remove it from the seat belt. Long as you will be using that seat belt it can stay on that belt. I did not need to have a cold or hot pack but I believe it will work due to the closeness of your body. ... show more
