I have a small closet that doesn't have lighting. Finally, I decided to do a remodel and wanted to add lighting. After contemplation, I decided to go the route of one that can be mounted and charged. This was the perfect fit! First, this can be used with the adhesive on the backside of the magnetic plate, which is quite strong adhesive. My walls, including the ceiling part, have been recently painted and they are textured, so typically adhesives do not last. However, for a day or two I used it only by the adhesive until I decided that I definitely liked the light and wanted it to become more permanent. We drilled the included two screws into the metal plate to secure it indefinitely. The light took a while to charge, which was what was described, but I just plugged it and left it overnight. It comes with a remote, two metal plates, and enough screws to mount both plates. I love that I could easily place two metal plates and move the light to different places, if I desired. The light has different lighting modes, so it's perfect if you need brighter or warmer tones. The three modes it has are great, but for us, we use day mode, which keeps the light off when no motion is detected, automatically turns on when motion is detected, and turns off 30 seconds after no more motion is detected. Overall, this is versatile, comes with extras, is easy to install, is plenty bright, and works as described. I will definitely buy more of these for other spaces. ... show more

I had some concerns about the magnetic mounts, but they were put to rest. When I installed the lights. The magnets are very strong and hold the light in place no problem at all. I wall mounted mine and the walls are textured so I couldn't count on the adhesive backing on the mounting plates. But I went ahead and used Molly's and took the a protective cover off of the adhesive amounts and mounted them and so far, no problem whatsoever. The light has 3 levels of brightness, and overall, they are very bright. And it illuminates my laundry room as well as an adjoining room in which I installed a second light, and it illuminates both rooms very well. The remote control is very nice for initial setup but after I got the setup completed, I didn't really need them except for making minor adjustments. In other words, out having to take the light down. The movement sensor works extremely well and is not overly sensitive, matter of fact it's exactly what I was hoping for as far as sensitivity. One of the things of beauty is the fact that it is rechargeable and you don't have to fool around changing batteries every month or two, just pull it down, recharge it and put it back up. I bought the 12000 milliamp hour version. And it only took an hour or so to charge up out of the box. And I anticipate not having to recharge the battery for at least a couple or three months in spite of the fact that both of the lights are in high traffic areas. These lights are so good, we now have 6 of them in our apartment. Our apartment does have a lot of lights. Most of the closets don’t even have outlets or any way to run power to them, so having bright, easy to use, and motion activated lights has been a game changer. The best part is that these lights are basically as bright as a standard 60w bulb! And this is coming from someone who has tried multiple different brands of lights like this. As you can see in my pictures, we have one in a small closet mounted to the wall, one right above our small washer/dryer, and one above our main entry way, the last of which is great when coming home late at night and all the lights are off. Gives you the perfect amount of light to take your shoes off and find the light switch for the end of the hall (it’s especially nice considering we have two steps down right in our front door). We also have on in our shower, as the only other light in the bathroom is above the vanity and does not do a good job providing light during a shower. We actually had a different light in there before, but these ones are almost twice as bright. As a bonus for the shower, I ran a long USBC cable up to the light so it never needs to charge. And rather than use the motion feature in the shower, since it’s got constant power, I mounted the remote to the wall right outside the shower! The last two we got are for a big closet in our office room. It’s not perfect, but they definitely give us light that wasn’t there before! The only downside to these lights naturally is having to charge them, but as long as they aren’t in the open constantly being set off, you can easily go a month before having to charge one! ... show more

How about your site as emergency backup for power failure has multiple settings and I think it was price recently you could also set the eye for movement so if you come in at night and no lights are on and I your place so you can come through the door the lights turn on the lights are pretty bright adequate for you to be able to see and walk safely as one can be I mounted mine on the bulkhead above my cabinets and my apartment just for a backup like I said it's easier to pull down the magnets are strong so it will support it if you put it up high a very easy to use it does come with a remote control you can't set a timer for it to turn off no wiring necessary if you plug it in your adapter because like you're charging your cell phone those who have them some people don't have a cell phone and they're illiterate but it's just simple as important adapter in the one end of the light and then plug it into your little charging box and plug it into the wall and wait a while and the unit will charge itself once charged you're good to go you can even take his camping if you wanted to you know you slap it up inside your tent you have overhead light or you can take it out to a shed that has no lights so I want them little metal pieces up or stick it to the ceiling and place your light and click there you go it's your light in your shed or wherever else you may need it I don't even thinking about purchase a second one overall I'm very pleased with it ... show more

I chose this 2-pk of lights to use 1 in a smaller closet that's always been dark and has had various cheapie little battery lights in it that never worked out. I'm happy to say this one here fits my needs! This thing is great for that closet. I have another closet that needs a light as well, but it'll require a different shape than this one, so I still have a spare to find a spot for, OR.. when the closet one finally needs charging (which it hasn't yet, it's gone a while), the spare one will be charged and ready to swap in while the other one is charging. The only thing I wish these had was a battery charge indicator so that I know how close it's getting to charge time. Otherwise, I think these are really nice. I bought this light for my daughter's closet around a year ago. I charged the light at that time and have been working perfectly fine without being charge again. So, the battery lasts a long time without need of charging. She specially wants it more illumination at the top of the closet, so it was installed right on top of the door. The light is easy to install, suitable for small rooms like a closet. This light function pretty good. My daughter opens the door, and she put her hand up and the light's sensor detect her hand immediately and switch on. She closes the door or stops moving inside the closet and it switch off. It has a good size, light weight and coverage. The best part is that the battery charge lasts incredibly. I would definitely recommend this product. More than 5 starts. I installed this on the ceiling of a 4'x8' wide closet. It provides all the light I need to see things on the shelves and even to see inside the drawers of a chest of drawers. I've had it up for about 2 months and haven't had to recharge it yet. The ceiling is angled (it's on the top floor of an old house) so I mounted it on 2 angle brackets. The result is the light is angled at about 45 deg. down. I was prepared to buy a second light if needed, but it isn't necessary. First of all, I love these lights! They are easy to install and even come with an extra mounting bracket. I am a person who likes options! These lights allow you to change from white to warm light and you can dim at each level of color. I have bought and tried several lights, but these are definitely a winner. The problem with most lights is that they don't have a large enough rechargeable battery. That equates to constant removal and charging...Not these! They stay charged for a long time. I am constantly in and out of my kitchen, so they get triggered frequently. I love how thin they are so thin. They are completely concealed under the cabinet and look great. This is a great affordable option for people that don't want to wire in lights. Bonus...during power outages it's a great source of additional light. ... show more
