Upgrade over family casual dining table. This chandelier is a perfect size. The design is not cheap looking in any way. Open design and airy but, not an industrial look. This light works with my dimmer switch which was a feature I definitely wanted...note: lights do not all have this feature so read specs carefully. I ordered the bulbs recommended on Amazon as well. There was a special offer so I received an additional 6 bulbs. Installation was pretty easy considering you are installing an item over your head on the ceiling with your arms up in the air balancing on a step ladder. We took an old light down so just tied into all existing wires etc. Only one rest period in the process and bingo all installed and we are still married! :) ... show more

It’s a very nice light, and easy to assemble. The wood color was yellow-ish and didn’t work with my decor so I painted it. Install was difficult, the wires were too short to support the maximum drop length and both wires on the fixture were black. I found the neutral wire to have white type on it only after guessing wrong the first time. ... show more

Perfect size and great quality for the price. Didn’t take too long to hang my only complaint is the bolt at the top where you pull the wires through was pretty tight but over all not a big deal. I chose a warmer tone bulb (also from Amazon) and it puts out great light.
