I am absolutely loving this light for my office! It does everything I wanted and more. The color-changing feature is super vibrant, and the brightness is perfect. The built-in speaker is as loud as I need it to be, and I haven’t had any Bluetooth connection issues at all. While the bass isn’t the strongest, I wasn’t expecting a high-end speaker—what it does offer is exactly what I was looking for. Ok so I’m not electrician. This is actually the first time I've ever touched a wire but I’m telling you, it’s EASY! I did watch a couple YouTube videos just to make sure I was doing it right but it’s very simple. THE SPEAKER. Idk why some people say the speaker sounds bad. I listen to a lot of music and I disagree. Is it a JBL? No of course not but the sound is clear and sounds good. Now, I am having one issue, there is a gap in between the light and the ceiling. I tried putting extra screws in the screw plate to attach it to the wall and make it secure but it’s just not working. You really can’t notice it but because this light is in my bathroom and I don’t have steam vents, I’m really worried about water getting up under the light. Other than that, I love it! COLORS, it changes colors with the remote. The colors will dim just like the regular lights. When the music plays the colored light flash which I don’t like. It’s a little too much for me but you CAN change it and make it a solid color while the music plays.

Light is not the best, bright enough for small space, speaker works well but connectivity is another issue. I cannot find the name or location of the app for sync and control of the light. Remote works, and I can sync with light each time I turn it on, but if I cut power with the switch I need to reconnect manually each time. Good, much cheaper than the $99 light from Home Depot, but with its shortcomings. Was easy to install.

The media could not be loaded. The light was easy to setup, just two wires and good to go! The light is plenty bright and our daughter loves the different colors, fading option, and the change to the music option. I included a video to show that. The light looks great in her room, and is decent size. The speaker is pretty impressive for the size, but definitely not as great as a high end speaker, it still produces acceptable sound quality. The remote is great, it gives the ability to control playback skip and pause from it without needing to grab phone once connected and playing music. Seems durable and like it will last. We are happy with this purchase. For the record we paid full price for this for her birthday!

The media could not be loaded. TL;DR - This is a great little product when it works, especially for the money. When it doesn't? Not so much. Intro: I purchased this nifty color-changing ceiling light/speaker on April 3, 2023. I was dissatisfied with the lighting in my bathroom, and I wanted something that gave off a bit more light. The first bonus for this item was its ability to dim and change colors (via included remote). The second bonus was the speaker (shower tunes!). With all those features, and for a bargain price, I was sold! The Good: The light is a good size for my bathroom, with the 11" not being obscenely large, while simultaneously fitting rather snug to the ceiling, and not encroaching much, vertically. It puts out an impressive amount of light at its brightest setting, while also having fine-grained progression when dimming. I really appreciated the adjustable color temperature for white light (again, with a decent amount of steps from warm to very cool, almost sky blue). Even the changing colors, whether static, fading, or dancing to music was pretty fun, even if I didn't use that particular feature often. Lastly, the built-in Bluetooth speaker was highly convenient, since I didn't have to drag a speaker into the bathroom if I wanted to listen to music during a shower (or, pitifully, blast my poor phone speaker on max volume). Okay, I can practically hear you asking, "Jay, if it's this good, why only two stars?" I'm glad you asked... The Bad: To begin, the included speaker is more PA/alarm clock radio, and less loudspeaker. What I mean is that the sound is pretty flat (read: fairly devoid of bass), and can sometimes sound muddy or unclear. Also, occasionally, the Bluetooth would fail to connect, so I would have to flip the light switch (thereby removing power from the device, effectively resetting it), and all would be well again. Granted, the speaker wasn't the primary reason I purchased this light, so I could overlook that, and did for the year I've owned it. No, what truly earned it the low rating was that a couple of weeks ago, I accidentally stumbled upon the first quality issue with the light. While progressing through the different dimness settings, I found that the light would flicker at about the 50% brightness setting (see attached video). I let it go, as I had pretty much strictly kept it between 80% and 100%, where the issue didn't occur. The breaking point, however, came last night, when I discovered that the light had switched color to blue on its own, and has been stuck at about 30% brightness (see photo). I was able to cycle through the different colors, as well as change it back to white, but there was nothing I could do to increase the brightness. I could even change the color temperature from warm to cool and back, but again, only at around 30% brightness. While this would be cool for a bath with some candles going, I prefer a bit more light when showering, and this will not do. To put a cherry on top of the sad sundae, this problem popped up exactly one year and three days after purchase, or just far enough outside of the manufacturer's one year warranty. Needless to say, that left me far less than pleased. Conclusion: Despite the fact that the speaker didn't have Sennheiser, AKG, Sony, or Bose quality of sound, I was prepared to love this product simply due to its manifold functionality where lighting is concerned. But the simple fact that it has proven itself more or less disposable left me feeling with the same kind of disappointment a young kid feels when they finally learn that pro wrestling is fake. That said, if you're looking for something that can do it all for a supremely reasonable price, just be prepared to replace it regularly. Otherwise, I would advise either spending more on something that will last longer, or going with something that may not necessarily do it all, but does what what few things it can do reliably, and for a long time.
