It does give off a fair amount of light and the chrome with LED looks quite nice. I will be moving this into the dinette area where the size is more appropriate. It is a 4000k light so it did not match my home. However, it is very good quality. It is very shiny chrome, so make sure you wear the included gloves that come with it! We bought this LED light in black color on Feb 19, 2023. Installed after it arrived. Since middle of October one of the strips in the LED started to flicker. Now it flickers a lot and the light is unusable. Trying to contact the vendor is difficult
