Researched for month for a good pool table light fixture that would work with our industrial style pool room. All the options were either ugly or too pricey for our liking. This light fixture seemed the right choice and gave it a try. Came well packed, it installed easily even if it was the first time installing this kind of light contraption for me. The look is great, the only problem I found, as stated in some other reviews, is that the 3 cones are not precisely aligned from fabrication. I guess I was lucky that they werent too much off and J was able to manually realign them with minimal force. I used 3 x 100watt equivalent LED bulbs and it does the job very well lighting up the playing area. I would recommend this product. ... show more

This is the prefect light for a pool table but the hanging chain was to short for my celling so I had to add wire and chain. Still a great light and looks expensive.

    • Ambiguous and Conflicting Product Description....Red? Or Dark Burgundy?

This vendor was very responsive when I reached out to let them know that the black finials at the ends of the horizontal pipe would not fit snugly into the end of the pipe openings. They are spring loaded friction fit and for some reason they did not sit straight and looked crooked at the ends. The seller immediately sent out two replacements which worked just fine. This is a quality piece and looks very classy. I had the "green felt" on my pool table recovered with a burgundy/wine colored felt to better match my pool room which has burgundy painted concrete floors and light grey walls so I needed a lamp that tied into that theme and this one filled the bill. When I went to the local billiards store, which has been around for over 40 years, to hire them to do the re-felt job on the table, I saw the exact same style of lamp in their lighting display showroom and it was $220 more than this one. I don't know if it was the exact same brand, but it was absolutely identical. So I am pleased with the cost of this light. My only complaint about this product is that you don't know what you will get, as far as color since the product page descriptions are very ambiguous. It is listed as a "red" lamp, and when you click through the various product pictures, you see some pictures which are clearly red and some which are clearly a dark burgundy. I had hoped it would be red because my burgundy color scheme is a bit more red than the darker burgundy, which this lamp is. I will end up removing the lamp shades from the rest of the fixture and spray paint them to better match the rest of the room and the new felt. Looking into purchasing a pool table light for our garage bar, I realized how expensive they really are. It seems like a racket, so when I came across this light I was skeptical. The reviews were solid and some of the pics posted made it look pretty good. So I pulled the trigger, and I couldn't be happier. It easily lights up our 7' bar box with minimal to no shadows. It was a no-brainer on setup and installation. We did have an electrician help us, as he was running wiring in the room anyways, but we were hands on with the install and it was extremely simple. Our only issue (which is NOT a product defect, just bad planning on our part) is that our wiring outlet was originally centered over the table, and this accounts for two mounting points. So we had to make some on-the-fly adjustments to make it work. Again, not a defect, just bad planning. I love this light, and highly recommend it if you are on a budget. ... show more

Don't expect a crystal $1000 lamp, this it not that. In my case I wanted a step up from a bare "shop light" without breaking the bank. It arrived quickly and well packed (It is BIG). I spliced on an old cord I had left over from a dead appliance and filled it with remote control bulbs. Now I just say "Alexa Turn on Pool Table Lights" or "Set Pool Table Lights to 80%". The materials are rather thin, but it looks fine. I liked how they included "screw on links" on the chain to make it easier to install and adjust the height. I'm not a fancy guy, just wanted to better light on the table. No Complaints (at this price point) ... show more

The initial impression on opening package was the product was cheaper looking than expected. Packaging was solid and protected product well during shipping. Assembly was easy requiring no special tools or skills and took less than an hour. Once assembled and hung over the 8' pool table it presented nicely at a price 1/2 to a 1/3 of similar product. 4 stars for ease of assembly due to the finials at each end of the main bar are attached by compressing a spring and sliding into each end of the main bar, which easily pop out if the fixture is bumped---an insert able collar on finials secured by a flush mounted screw through top of bar would improve this mounting. ... show more
