When I moved into my house, it came with a front load washer with a rubber gasket. I knew they molded and corroded (this one had begun too), but I still hadn’t found a way to keep the door open. Let's face it, the easiest way to ruin a front loader is to keep the door shut when not in use. Front loaders have to dry out between uses or they develop a horrible musty-moldy smell inside the machine and on the rubber seal. This little gadget is ingenious. It's bendable and formable to configure any way you want. Very strong magnet to keep in place. My laundry room is located in a hall pass through between garage and house, I hate it, there's never enough room to keep the door open on my front loader, but this gadget keeps the door blocked open about an inch (or as much as you want) enough to allow air to dry inside, and still gives me enough room to get through the small space without any problems.
