Review Date: 03/14/2024 Price when Ordered: $749 with a $40 off coupon from Amazon Overall Impression: After shopping for mattresses all over the place, I thought I would check Amazon, as many of the mattress websites and stores (Mattress Firm) were wanting $1600 - $2200 for split king adjustable bases that are the same as these. So when I found these, at this price, I was sold. I've had quite an experience (since you don't buy this sort of thing everyday), and maybe I can save you some time and money by telling you everything you need to know about buying these. Setup and Delivery: I live in a major metro area near an Amazon distribution center, and these still took about 1.5 weeks to show up. They showed up to my door in separate boxes. The boxes are a little banged up, but when I got the frames out, they were in perfect condition. No problems. IMPORTANT: If you need two twin frames for a Split King bed, then order the "SPLIT KING" and not two separate Twin Frames. If you order 2 Twin frames the USB ports on one will be on the wrong side, and it will not come with the hardware to connect these together. Once you get them out of the box, you literally unfold them, put in one hand tightened screw, and screw the legs on. Easy easy easy. Compared to some other available adjustable frames, I think these look way easier, as other reviewers complained on those that putting the frames together was difficult, and that they had to watch a video several times. This could not have been easier. IMPORTANT: You will stand these on their side, or on their back to put them together. You will need two people to flip them onto their legs. I tried this with just me, and almost broke the legs off. It can be done (I did it), but if I had to do it again, I would get another person to help. Also, these are very heavy. If you are lifting them into the center of a bed frame, it is not easy unless you are a pretty big dude with good upper body strength. Again, I accomplished it, but I wish I would have gotten some help. Once together I put them inside my regular King Bed frame which is a very large Headboard, two side rails, and a footboard. I put these inside, and they are not even attached to the frame, they just sit in the middle. The two twin mattresses fit on top and don't rub on, or interfere with anything. IMPORTANT: These frames come with 6 legs per frame (12 total). These are about 12 inches tall each. When I put my 11 inch Twin XL mattresses on top, it was only about 24 inches off the ground. This was about 9 or so inches BELOW my footboard, so it looked super funny. I had to buy leg extensions. If you need to do this, here are the facts: The threading on the legs are M8 (metric) threads. If you search on Amazon for "12 Inch Adjustable Bed Leg Replacements M8" you will find a few options. You will need 12 total legs, and a set of 6 is about $80, so do some measuring before you decide to buy. The important thing is that they are M8 threads. For the Split King, you can hook these two twin size frames together and use a 6P6C Cable (6 pin RJ12 telephone cable) which comes with it to synchronize the frames. To do this, you connect the telephone cable to the "SYNC" port in each frame, and now it works as all one unit. This is great, but now what happens if you want them to be separate? You have to crawl under the bed, and unhook this cord. Ugh. Hassle. I was hoping you could sync or unsyc with a button on the remote, but nope. So I went and bought an A/B switch, some extra 6P6C telephone cords. Search "6P6C" or "RJ12" for those ($8.99 for 2 Ten foot cables), and for the A/B switch search for "AB 2 Way Switch Box RJ12 Female." ($18.95). Now I have a switch that I can turn to "Sync" or "Separate" depending on what we want. Next, I had an issue with the two mattresses separating, leaving a hole in the middle of the bed. To solve this issue, I bought these little bed frame brackets. Search "DAYGO ANTI SLIP MATTRESS GASKET." Once installed, this solved the issue. It is important though that you connect your Adjustable bed frames together, or they will naturally separate as you move around. Overall, this is an excellent purchase. It is half the cost (at least) of any of the stores trying to sell you one of these with a mattress purchase, and it also takes away the power of the mattress salesman trying to "throw" things in for a good deal. Once I got these how I liked them, I would definitely recommend them. Very good. 5 stars because of the price, and the ease to put them together. Normally, I would take off for all the leg extensions and AB switches I had to buy, but honestly, that would have been a problem no matter which frame I bought. So 5 stars. Well done Fromann. let me know if you have questions. My Review Scale: 1 Star- Do Not Buy 2 Stars - Ok, but do not recommend 3 Stars - Decent Product, but there is something I don't like. 4 Stars - Good Product, with quality that I would expect. The bed frame arrived on time in excellent condition. The first thing I noticed was the weight of the frame. Fed Ex delivered it, and the driver left it at the bottom of my 3 step porch. I was able to get it into my home, with an assist from my wife. Our bedroom is upstairs, and it is impossible to carry it alone. Fortunately the frame folds open and there are pins to separate into 2 manageable halves. The frame is extremely well made, and very sturdy. After getting it into our bedroom, and reassembling the frame, things were easier. The 6 legs are height adjustable as needed. Each leg is 3 segments screwed together. The motors are quiet and strong. The remote is pre-paired with the product, and is simple to use. The instructions leave something to be desired, but that seems to be the norm these days. Our queen mattress fit perfectly on it, and works great! There are multiple choices as far as configuration goes. Before purchasing it's advisable to make sure your mattress is compatible with an adjustable frame.

I ordered the 2 twin XL frames to make a King size bed. They ship from the same place but in 2 different shipments. Unfortunately, the shipping company made a mistake and one of my frames ended up taking a tour of the United States. The company immediately reached out to me and told me they didn't know when the second frame would arrive. Their solution was to immediately ship a second frame and when the other one got to me, they said keep it and use it in another room or give it to a friend! What company does that these days? There is another review on these frames that gives you the entire run down on everything he did to set these up. I highly recommend looking at that review. I won't go through it but I will give you some of my insights. First, the legs. I didn't like how low the frames were so I bought some extras. I have a review of those legs as well. If you don't like the height of the bed and want extra height, get 2 sets of one brand of legs. It's a hassle mixing brands of legs. I was concerned the frames would drift apart over time. So I built a way to clamp them together. But the mattresses do tend to drift. There are devices you can order that keep the mattresses from doing that. Look into those and choose the best one for you. I used the clips that attach to the frame and a tab sticks up to hold the mattresses. I had to cut the fabric of the bed frame to get those to work so you may not like that option. Set up is fairly straight forward with the directions. I devised a way with some zip ties to suspend the wires under the bed so my robot vacuum didn't get caught in them. I also made the decision not to connect the frames with the wires they supply because I want the 2 frames to be able to adjust independently. My wife doesn't sleep with the same head and foot incline I do. As has been stated in other reviews, the remotes are good. However, I will agree with them that there is no back light on them and you can't see which button you're pushing in the dark. The flashlight built in is really of no use to see the buttons because you have to push a button to turn it on. I love these beds. I had to sleep in a recliner for the last 12 years because I need my head raised up due to allergies. Now I can sleep in a bed again and sleep next to my wife. I recommend these frames and I highly recommend the company that sold them to me!

I made this purchase after searching high and low for an affordable option! Not only is this bed base adjustable it comes with few extra added perks! The massage setting is wonderful! Even my dog loves it. There's also usb charging station for phone, night light under carriage, and pockets! I'm unable to use the pockets and charging area only because the bed frame I've got hinders it. Otherwise I'd love to use them. There's also pre- sets for reading or snoring which just the pre-set capability is nice and useful. Installation was very easy and instructions were clear. The box it comes in is not crazy large but extremely heavy. It's atleast a two person move including moving equipment or possibly four without. Once you have box in area setting up is a breeze. Surely use two people to flip once legs are installed to ensure not to break any. I have used this for close to a year without complications!

This power adjustable bed is sturdy and comfortable and was easy to assemble with no tools. Although you will need something to cut the thick zip ties used to hold the components in place during shipping. The bed is fairly heavy which is probably why it is so sturdy. The remote control was already paired to the unit, but instructions for pairing are included. Remote is a nice shape and size so it is easy to distinguish from TV or other remotes. It works well from a good distance away and may be bluetooth or some other RF transmission because it works when not in direct sight of the bed or when the bed frame is covered (like with a bed skirt). The remote has preset buttons for zero gravity setting and flat setting, It would be nice if it had presets for anti-snore and tv/reading positions as well. It does have 1 custom memory setting button. The only minor issue with the remote is that it is not backlit, although it has a built in flashlight and an in use indicator light. The motors are very quiet and move smoothly, it is easy to make minute adjustments to head and feet separately or simultaneously. There was no mention of a mobile app in the description or in the packaged materials, but there is an Okin bed app, it will be an unexpected bonus if it works with this bed, even if it doesn’t this is a great product. Note: In reviews I have seen talk of the USB ports being inaccessible on split king units. If you order the split king the 2 twin XL units are labeled for left and right and the USB ports are positioned on the outside of each unit so both are accessible when put together. If you don’t order the split king you will get two twin xl with USB ports on the same side of each unit. Update: 3 years in and still working great! Remotes, lights, USB ports, head and foot controls all perfect with daily use.

When I needed an adjustable bed for my FIL this was what I chose. Easy to assemble and cut perfect into a small area. Bed functions we very quiet and the charging port and under bed timed lights are a huge plus. The price is more the reasonable. This bed would be 2500 at a bed store. This was delivered to the front door. The bed is sturdy and the adjustable height on the remote is easy for him to use. He is 90 and tells he hasn’t slept as good as he has on this bed! Perfect purchase.

After having back surgery and a long recovery, I still needed to rest often to relieve pain. I had looked at recliners and wasn’t in love, so I looked at adjustable beds. First, the bed was easy to set up, but was heavy so having another person was needed. I couldn’t assemble or set it up, but my help raved about the ease. I was able to use my own twin xl mattress without needing to purchase another one. This bed has the zero gravity setting that is great for relieving pressure and being in a great position to read or watch tv. At times the lay flat setting is perfect. The controls to raise or lower the head or feet are easy to adjust with the remote. I also love having the USB port to charge my phone right on the frame. I have used this bed daily for months and it is the best thing I have done for my comfort. I would definitely buy it again!

I got a split king set 2 years ago. It works perfectly still. Great range of adjustments. Quiet motor. The usb jacks still function great. I like the under bed light for gentle light when getting up in the middle of the night. Just overall great quality!
