I bought this base specifically bc it has the adjustable lumbar support. This feature alone doubled the cost of a comparable twin xl adjustable base that does not have the lumbar support. The base is well made, but the lumbar support bar is completely in the wrong location. When engaged, the lumbar support bar creates outward pressure towards my LOWER SHOULDER BLADES. Look at the listing photos. Your lumbar is the lowest part of your back. Considering that most people don’t sleep with their heads hanging off the top of their mattress, it is not possible to align your lumbar region with the location of this model’s support bar. Perhaps if you are shorter than 5’-0”, it might work for you — but for the average height adult, this functionality is useless. For context, I have included a photo showing where a typical head pillow is positioned relative to the lumbar support bar to show that it is directly below your shoulder blades ... show more

This bed frame is really good overall, and I especially like its adjustable function. It is not complicated to install and is very convenient to use. It is so comfortable to raise the head of the bed before going to bed to watch TV or play with your phone. The remote control is very responsive and the adjustment process is very smooth, without the mechanical clicking sound. However, it should be noted that the motor of this bed frame is a little loud, which can be heard more clearly at night, but it is not particularly exaggerated and will not affect sleep. In addition, although it is very sturdy overall, if you are particularly sensitive to noise, there will still be a little noise when adjusting, so it is recommended to be gentle. ... show more
