The filter unit was designed well. The unit was purchased to only filter the water that would be dispensed from the refrigerator and not for the sink water. The water supply (1/4") for the fridge was previously connected from the main angle stop via an adapter the also split off to the 3/8" sink supply. We did not want to filter the sink water so we had to purchase a new adapter ($6) that would split from the main angle stop to the sink and also to the filter unit. In order to connect the smaller fridge line to the filtered end of the unit, we needed to purchase a reducer ($5) from 3/8" outlet hose to 1/4" fridge line. We did not want to replace the existing fridge line that ran through the kitchen walls. Once all the adapters were installed, the filter unit attached easily. No leaks were detected. The water from the filter tastes great and completely removed the chlorine smell that was present from the fridge-only filter we had previously. Great product. ... show more

I did most of installation myself but had plumber finish it up as I was replacing sink and let him install new faucet. Pretty easy the plumber didn’t realize I had gotten the refrigerator hook up kit and didn’t install and took the parts. It’s a year later love the system. I just ordered a second unit for a friend and at same time replacement filters and refrigerator hookup replacement kit. The water has been great and reduced my heartburn was having a lot of issues from regular chlorination treatments to our water. Taste is better and seems to have helped my bread making. I just installed my undersink water filtration system. Installation was extremely easy, instructions were on point. No leaks on my first try. After running the water through the system for the recommended time, tasted it and it was what we expected, clear water with no weird taste. Perfect so far.

PROs 1. Filter lots of different variations: Chloramine, Chlorine, Fluoride, Lead, Copper, and other heavy metals, Arsenic, Bad Taste & Odors 2. Seperate water fountain & spilt to fridge line (to not waste filtering for dishes) 2. Support was fantastic, some items broke and they quickly replaced it. 3. Decent tasting, I use to use Brondell but switch. 4. Filter replacement Kit $50 for a variety filter pack consisting of Qty 4 CONs 1. Plastic part to filter kept on leaking on initial install. A. This really should be better design. B. Taking it ON/OFF to get it to work broke clips. 2. Adapters ($10) for USA type of fittings aren't included. The video didn't include all the installation steps, and the installation steps in the instruction manual weren't perfectly explained. This led to a couple "incidents" where water leaked all over under our sink during the installation process. But I eventually got it figured out. I removed our old system and this new one installed in about two hours. Now time will tell how this new system works out for us. Hopefully it doesn't leak all over under our sink. Update: 7/25/2023 CS reached out after review was posted. Send new filter. It helped some with water pressure. So bumping up to 4 stars for good after sale support. We have a small family of 3. Used this filter under our kitchen sink. After 4 months the water pressure start dropping. It wont last 5 months at this rate. We dont use that much water in the kitchen. Only for cooking and cleaning and we only cook 1x a day. ... show more
