Brought this faux tree stump footstool into the house and the real tree stump I had in the corner immediately became territorial. I could tell from the way Stumpy was posturing and showing signs of anxiety he believed the faux stump was an unwelcome intruder to his home. I wasn't able to calm him and in time his anxiety increased to the point where it was just no longer safe to have him in the house. Eventually adopted him out to a stump rescue agency. Luckily the faux stump footstool has settled right in and acts like she's been here all along. Plus no more unsightly messes like my real stump used to leave.

I want to start by saying that these are definitely really nice quality for the price. They do look like real wood at first glance and are sturdy and seem like they’ll hold up to even the sweatiest drinks. That being said if you’re very particular about colors working together in your space this can be risky because I bought three and they are all three pretty different hues. One is pretty white with hints of brown, one is white with hints of grey and a dark bottom and one is straight up greenish grey all over. So they do not match, nor are any of them the pretty creamy color shown in the product photos. The two lighter ones are close enough that they will work with my design but the greenish grey one is such a sore thumb. I don’t suppose there’s any point in trying to exchange it because if they’re all hand painted then there’s no guaranteeing I will get one that works better with the other two. I may try to dry brush some lighter tones over top but it’s a little disappointing because the description does not give the impression that they are all different. Perhaps I’m too particular but I am an interior designer (on a budget) so I just be that way.

Delivered August 5th and loved it! Used on our pool deck as a side table. We were even going to order a second one. Yesterday, my husband picked it up to move it (September 22) and noticed that part of the top was “mushy”. He touched it and his thumb went right through. I would not consider this suitable for outdoor use. Again, it was very realistic and beautiful. We were very happy with our purchase until it broke.

I really liked this for my deck. It was advertised as great for outdoor living. Well mine is not. After just 5 months the “wood finish” is peeling across the top. Looks terrible. Really want a replacement or refund but no luck so far.

I bought them for seating. I originally wanted another color but other colors were going out of stock quickly so I ordered this color while it was still available. I am now glad I had to go with this color because they are perfect. The spot next to the pond was too small for a bench but these work perfect in that spot were I can still stand between them to do pond maintenance. The only thing that is strange, both are hollow but one has the bottom sealed closed and the other is open. I don’t know how they will handle weather yet so if they don’t hold up well I will revise my review but as of now I am pleased.

This table really does look like wood. I ordered it in brown and it makes an attractive addition to our covered patio. The top is flat so you can use it for drinks. The table is heavy and will not tip over. This item arrived very well packaged. I might buy another if I can find a place for it.

I needed a nightstand but didn't want to assemble one. I hate how everything these days requires assembly and even easy assembly is too hard for me. Pretty much the only kind of nightstand you can get without assembly is this kind, which is my motivation for purchasing but then I realized how great it looks and how it goes with my bedroom's forest decor. It looks like the bottom of a tree but is ceramic. It is amazing how much they get it to look like a tree. If you didn't feel it's hardness and didn't know it was made of ceramic you would think it was a tree. Quirky, kitchy and something different. I like it. It is a bit low to the floor (the height I got anyway) and not as wide as I'd like but overall great!
