Good quality paddle especially for the price point. The surface grit is durable and has next to no fade even after a month or two of use. My paddle has been dropped and hit by other paddles several times and there’s only a small scratch on one face to show for it. The design looks nice and makes it stand out against the sea of plain black paddles everyone seems to use in my area. I’m a beginner so I can’t comment on how good it is for experienced players, but I’m sure it’s still a great choice especially if you don’t want to drop $200+ on a paddle.

Great paddle for a great price! Pros: - lightweight so it's easy to customize with lead tape - carbon fiber surface is super gritty with great spin - good power compared to gen 1.5 / 2 paddles. A bit less power than gen 4 but those are more than 2x the price so this is a good compromise. - cool colors! Cons: - paddle didnt come with a box, only in a plastic bag. Definitely not expected since there are paddles for $50 on amazon that come with a box and extra accessories like rubber erasers and grips. - original paddle came defective with a loose glue stain that started rattling inside the paddle. I heard that is common with gen3 paddles. Asked for replacement and waiting for that to come in.

Good overall paddle, however when comparing to one a friend bought directly from the Friday website - mine appears to not have the same face texture. Mine feels almost completely smooth compared to his. We’ve had both our paddles roughly the same amount of time, he even has more hours on his than mine. Not sure if that is a defect, but I won’t be buying a Friday paddle from Amazon again.
