I love this machine! I’m 75 with some hip and knee issues but this doesn’t aggravate them like our standard elliptical machine did. It’s very quiet and smooth. It’s heavy and well made so if you’re putting it upstairs you’ll need two strong guys. Assembly took about 90 minutes. The organization of the many parts and screws and the instructions were the best we’ve ever had for assembling machines. It was packed extremely well so even though the box had some damage the machine did not. I really like the display and the program options. I actually enjoy using it! ... show more

I had used a recumbent elliptical in physical therapy and found it very helpful in building strength and stamina. The cost of that “professional “ machine was well beyond my budget. I did some research and found this Teeter. I was concerned about whether it was sturdy, of high quality and the difficulty of assembly. I am glad I took a chance on Teeter. It is an excellent piece of equipment. Here is what I found. -Ordering from Amazon was easy. I learned that if i wanted to return the product, Amazon would come pick it up due to its 150lbs. Moving a heavy machine around not easy but i was reassured to know if it wasn’t right Amazon was there. - delivery happened in 4 days via Fedex. The delivery man helped me get it down to my basement! -Packaging excellent, lots of styrofoam and tape. Be aware there are several smaller parts that are embedded in the foam and easily missed so examine carefully. -Yes assembly takes some time. Start by laying out and identifying all parts. Important to insure you’ve located all parts. The hardware bolts and screws are in separate bags marked with the assembly step they were for. Incredibly thoughtful and easy. - The instructions are clear in steps accompanied by diagrams and pictures. You also have access to BILT video that clearly shows what you need to do and ties into written instructions. Was all very clear. - very well engineered. All(well almost) parts and bolts fit perfectly. The one issue was fitting the seat assembly. It just wouldn’t fit. I called customer service and had good fortune to work through the issue with Julie, the best customer service rep i have ever worked with. Julie understood the issue and sent me a supplemental video dealing with it. Worked like a charm. After this hiccup assembly was smooth as silk. -The machine? It is rock solid made of very sturdy steel. The operation is even better than the pro machine i had used. The motion is like walking, while sitting down. That’s my kind of exercise! The console is clear and allows for many programs at 20 intensity levels. You get a great workout and i don’t get the pain i experienced with a stationary bike. This has been an excellent experience. Teeter and Amazon addressed all my concerns. It is a lot of money to spend on a product i never tried but it delivers. I couldn’t recommend this more highly. ... show more

Easy to assemble

I LOVE this piece of equipment. I am 80 years old and the instructions were so good that I put the whole thing together by myself. It definately provides a great workout, is totally quiet and easy to adjust to my size. It is fefinately worth every penny.

I bought this to use post surgery for my at home cardio rehab and beyond. After looking at several options, I decided on this one, and I’m so glad that I did. This is a heavy, well made, quality product that is built to last. I like that it has a console screen and a place for the phone or tablet, and water bottles. There are various settings and options for workouts, and will accommodate up to four user inputs. The most amazing thing to me was how quiet it is. There is hardly any noise at all. This is as good as what I used at the rehab gym, and doesn’t cost near as much as their machines. About the assembly: My husband put it together in about 1-1/2 hours. The directions were straight forward, and the pieces were easy to put together. The main body is in one piece, so it’s a matter of assembling the attachments that make up the rest of the platform, the front, i.e. the console deck and handle bars, plus the seat assembly. The only problem that I’ve had is that the seat adjustment is a bit difficult to lower (quite easy to raise). My husband had to adjust that for me. I’m 5’4” and weigh 108#. The seat and handle bars adjusted to fit me well. I like the workouts, and have tried several of the programs. I do recommend getting the Teeter Mat to go underneath the machine. It will protect the floors and stabilize the machine if you have hard floors. It does have wheels on the back to make it moveable, however it is very heavy (110#) to lift from the front and roll around. I would recommend that you set up the machine where you intend to use it, and not have to move it around a lot. ... show more

4.5 stars....well shipment packaging, well made, simple to assemble (online video helped), good instructions. Performs smooth and quiet. Main unit is heavy. Display easy to read/see/understand. Length could be a little longer as it seems short (tight) and compact. Could be hard to get in the seat for some people by climbing over cross side beams. Seat could have been swivel. You for sure feel it is doing it's job, just on a simple manual no resistance ride. Recommended in place of treadmill, walking, riding a bike or a heavy workout. ... show more

Excellent Quality: FedEx, Packaging, Instructions, Equipment. FedEx delivered the well packaged Equipment with no tears, dents or damage. The Equipment was packaged nicely. The parts and Instructions were very thorough and marked nicely. The Equipment is adjustable and very stable. It's heavy but that's expected with its stability and size. The Freestep LT7 is really easy to adjust- including the lower seat (adjusts back and forth, the back adjusts in 3 positions to support lower back, and the seat height adjusts up and down for your leg length. The handle bars are equally easy to adjust for comfort and or type of workout. It's designed to allow you to workout legs only, arms only, or both. The console is large and easy to read. I like the way you can easily lock it so the pedals and handles don't move which makes it safer to get on and off. It's very quiet. The only noise I heard were my knees. (Lol). There are 2 cup holders. It holds my Stanley 24 oz cup with no problem. You can use the other holder for whatever. The top part is spring adjustable and holds my Android phone easily and securely. Quality fitness device meeting family’s needs

This cross trainer has fulfilled our family’s needs by serving four of us from 60 to 85 years of age. I get a good cardio workout. My elderly in-laws independently use it with confidence. Sturdy construction. Fully and easily tailored seat, leg length and handhold adjustments. It did take me a couple hours to assemble but the instructions were spot on; it just takes time. Not worth the money

The seat doesn't go back far enough! The seat is small! The cup holders Don't have a front so the cups don’t stay safe . The iPad holder is too high for me I am only 5 ft . Sorry I am not 100% happy with the purchase
