I have only enthusiastic praise for this recumbent bike --- well made, and of great quality as well as easy to assemble from the enclosed well-written instructions and clear artistic drawings (my husband thanks you Teeter!!). The bike makes this 76 year old feel "almost young again!!!" It is so quiet and my activity on the bike actually feels effortless. I had been using a treadmill and not getting adequate results for my arms and core. This bike is exactly what I was looking for in terms of "total body" exercise and for the ease of motion and physical exertion. Believe me, I could tell the difference in my muscle tone and energy level for the first time after exercising for only 30-35 minutes and that was without subsequent soreness or pain. Very little indeed to complain about with this product. Very solid throughout, with excellent assembly instructions. Yes, as many noted, some of the screws are difficult to thread correctly at first. Operation is as advertised; changing settings for different sized family members is quick and simple. By contrast the shipping, though fast, gave the impression that the box had fallen from more than one truck in its journey: compression bands all gone, edge tape badly frayed here and there, and some dents in the heavy cardboard. All materials are of durable high quality. All parts are precisely machined and fit together perfectly. Installation takes a couple of hours but instructions are excellent and easy to follow. Nearly silent when in use. Very smoothe operation. Seat cushion is heavily padded and comfortable. Seat height and depth adjustments make it easy to find a comfortable stride distance.     • Easy and enjoyable to use. Seat is up high. Need to step over the frame to sit on the high seat.

I find the the Teeter LT3 enjoyable to use. I however have a few concerns. 1. For me, the seat is approximately 30 inches off the floor. 2. To sit on the seat, I must climb over the 12 inch high frame. There is not much space between foot pedals and the frame so I am essentially having to straddle a distance of 23 inches to be able to sit on the elevated seat. I will try and see if I am comfortable lowering the seat. I did purchase the cushion that was associated with the Teeter LT3. I'm glad I did as the seat is hard. I know the seat does not swivel, am not sure if someone else would be able to get on the seat easier..I am not able to at this time. The above may appear that I do not like this product. I do like it and feel it will be extremely helpful to me. I just am extremely careful getting on the Teeter and feel this is a safety issue. I was surprised that I received the Teeter LT3 one day after ordering. I did watch a u tube video finding that extremely helpful. It took approximately two hours to unpack and put the Teeter LT3 together, with 2 people. I am 5' 7". Obviously the seat would be lower to the ground on a shorter person. Seat is easily lowered etc. I did not have any pain or pulling on my shoulder or leg/knee joints during or after using. I am looking forward to using the Teeter LT3. Seemed to be quiet. After I purchased the Teeter LT3, it was advertised for a lower price, I contacted the company and the price was honored. Awesome. When I purchased the Teeter LT3, I would have been responsible for returning at my cost.. so I would certainly think carefully about this item. I would like to have been able to see this set up. Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase. I do not know the accuracy of the odometer reading. It says that I had gone 2 miles in under 30 minutes at a slow/ low resistance pace. I did give it a 4 star because of the seat height and having to straddle the base. The Teeter LT3 is extremely sturdy and I do believe is an awesome product. ... show more

If you're looking for a well made cross trainer don't look any more this is it. Assembly was simple and product is well made for sure. Not harsh on the ankles, knees, hips, and back. Excellent display and simple to choose your workout. Well worth the money spent. Enjoy and get back in shape!

Silent and very comfortable to use. I was very hesitant because one or two people mentioned being tall and it not feeling right. But I’m 5’11” with very long legs and it’s a perfect fit. Also, I’ve been dealing with planters fasciitis and a clicky knee and a back that hurts when I’m on my feet for too long so I thought this would help protect them and it has!     • Decent. A bit underwhelming for the price

Nice machine if you are built right. The seat only really goes up or down. You can’t slide it back unless you raise it up. No matter what I do I can not get my arms to extend. I have the handles as low as they go. If I raise the seat too high then my feet are too low on the petals or can’t reach. So either I adjust the feet and my arms don’t extend or I sit super high, my arms extend and my feet don’t reach. I could adjust the seat to lean back and that will make my arms extend. But I want to sit up while I’m petaling. Also, what the point of the blue tooth unless you buy a heart rate monitor? For the cost of the machine I would expect that to be built into the handles.The console really only controls the programs. Not even a built in fan. It’s a good low impact workout but for what it is, it’s kinda overpriced. Seat is comfortable enough. Nice and big. Tension is fine. If your 5”8 expect some issues figuring out your seat/arms/leg positions. Returning would be a hassle and I do like the programs. Just keep these things in mind before buying. My friend has the lt3 and it’s lower to the ground and adjustable. Just no programs and very basic screen. ... show more
