We paid to have it assembled and that was a great idea. I love this product! It works well and is not complicated to use. I use another type in physical therapy, but this works just as well and is a coupe thousand less in cost. It’s well worth it and is used daily.

I bought this to use post surgery for my at home cardio rehab and beyond. After looking at several options, I decided on this one, and I’m so glad that I did. This is a heavy, well made, quality product that is built to last. I like that it has a console screen and a place for the phone or tablet, and water bottles. There are various settings and options for workouts, and will accommodate up to four user inputs. The most amazing thing to me was how quiet it is. There is hardly any noise at all. This is as good as what I used at the rehab gym, and doesn’t cost near as much as their machines. About the assembly: My husband put it together in about 1-1/2 hours. The directions were straight forward, and the pieces were easy to put together. The main body is in one piece, so it’s a matter of assembling the attachments that make up the rest of the platform, the front, i.e. the console deck and handle bars, plus the seat assembly. The only problem that I’ve had is that the seat adjustment is a bit difficult to lower (quite easy to raise). My husband had to adjust that for me. I’m 5’4” and weigh 108#. The seat and handle bars adjusted to fit me well. I like the workouts, and have tried several of the programs. I do recommend getting the Teeter Mat to go underneath the machine. It will protect the floors and stabilize the machine if you have hard floors. It does have wheels on the back to make it moveable, however it is very heavy (110#) to lift from the front and roll around. I would recommend that you set up the machine where you intend to use it, and not have to move it around a lot. ... show more

4.5 stars....well shipment packaging, well made, simple to assemble (online video helped), good instructions. Performs smooth and quiet. Main unit is heavy. Display easy to read/see/understand. Length could be a little longer as it seems short (tight) and compact. Could be hard to get in the seat for some people by climbing over cross side beams. Seat could have been swivel. You for sure feel it is doing it's job, just on a simple manual no resistance ride. Recommended in place of treadmill, walking, riding a bike or a heavy workout. ... show more

I've been using this for a couple of weeks now and would recommend it to others. It has proven easy to use even with a bum foot and achy knee. My only complaint is that it is not easy to get into as it sits high and you have to maneuver the bars. However for the price of the Teeter FreeStep compared to the costly NuStep....this is money well spent. ... show more

This has already been a powerful tool in my recovery from orthostatic-related autonomic dysfunction. I was in great shape when I suddenly felt faint and afterwards haven't been able to run on a treadmill without feeling faint and tachy. This recumbent cross trainer lets me recondition my arms, legs, and core muscles gently and without the added stress of gravity and orthostatic stress on my vascular system. I've used it with and without compression garments. One thing I've noticed is that after a 10-15 min workout at a low and steady pace, my HR stays closer to baseline for the rest of the day, barring any serious stressors. It's easy to use, and modifiable for a perfect fit (I am short). I would 10/10 recommend this to anyone facing sudden deconditioning and wanting to improve venous return, overall circulation and muscle tone. ... show more
