This was a great choice for me! I wanted something that wouldn’t take up a lot of space to store. I use it in my garage & just push it towards the wall when I’m not using it. It’s nice that it comes with gloves too. You can work out your arms & legs easily to keep muscle tone & mobility.

I've done some very light boxing and Tae Bo in my life, but my husband does Hapkido, a martial art that they also use a punching bag to punch and kick. I was excited to get this because I've been wanting to get back into boxing as a way to workout, and he has a hanging punching bag in our garage, but has been wanting a standalone one, too. The set-up of the bag itself wasn't too bad. A few things made it challenging. The bottom not only needs to be inflated, but also needs to be filled with either water or sand. For the moment, we've gone with water (but after doing that, we've decided we'd rather have sand, so that's the goal). The bottom kind of sloshes around once you do get it all inflated and start to kick and punch it. That's a little weird. Also, the top part needs to be inflated as well, but the included pump makes that easy, although there's only a hole at the top to inflate it, not at the middle. Once it's ready to go, the fun begins! It's not like punching the bag my husband has hanging in the garage, which is rock hard; it's more like punching a giant rubber balloon, but that's not a bad thing! No matter how hard you hit or kick, the thing bounces right back! The one thing I had to be careful about was hitting it and having it bounce back and hit me in the face. For someone like me, this was great, just the right speed! My husband tried it out, too, who is very experienced at beating and kicking while he trains, and it was still really fun for him to beat it and kick it to death, too. It also stood up to whatever he could throw at it.

This punching bag is perfect for both beginners and teens. At 70 inches, it’s a great height and feels stable when in use. The base holds up well, and the included gloves and air pump are a nice bonus. Excellent for kickboxing, boxing, or just getting a good workout at home!

The gloves that come with this are terrible quality. I know this is a beginner type kit but the gloves are just bad. Do your hands a favor and buy those separately. The box it comes in is definitely interesting… I wouldn’t say this is “combat training” like the box says with the buff anime dude on the front. The one redeemable thing is the bag itself and it does come with a pump (huge plus). Its really tall! Highly recommend filling the bottom with water otherwise itll just fall over. I don’t think this is a great value. Its pretty cheap. They didn’t even put correct grammar on the box lol.
