Fantastic tool, though a little overpriced in my opinion. Do be warned, if you by this, Amazon will make you sign for the package. I was depending on getting this package at a certain time, and did not receive it as a result of me not being home to sign for it. This was very frustrating. I am a Nurse and work chaotic hours. If the tool would have been delivered, I would have known not to drive my car to work resulting in me getting stranded. I implore Amazon to stop this practice unless a customer explicitly wants this. I had to call out of work just to wait all day for the package to come so I could sign for it. I am a on-call Nurse. This was not good.

This Foxwell scanner has saved us a lot of hassles. Since it's so specialized, it does things a basic reader can't, like registering a new battery. This is a must for these cars unless you want big bills at the dealership. The build feels very professional. The person who uses it said that the physical buttons are a huge plus because they’re easier to handle than a touchscreen. It also lets you test things like the fuel pump or windows directly from the device. I think it's a great way to stay informed about what’s going on with your car. This scanner is incredibly thorough. It actually dives into different modules like the ABS and airbags to find the root of the problem. There's no need to register the software and it has wifi updates available for free. It’s easy to navigate once you get used to the button layout and is definitely worth it if you want the ability to do routine resets at home.

The media could not be loaded. The NT510 Pro Fit Scan Tool for BMW’s by FOXWELL, has been a great diagnostic tool, that can do so many helpful things, elevating my backyard mechanic skills dramatically. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying. I. Quality – It looks and feels like it’s solidly built tool made out of good quality materials. The 4.3” LED screen is bright and responsive. The outer shell provides good protection. It also comes with a semi hard protective case and great quality battery clamps. I’d put it in the high upper-middle level of the quality scale and guess that it should hold up well over time, assuming the electronics survive. II. Performance – This is a great machine if you want to be able to access multiple functions with the same device. It claims to support most BMW, MINI and Rolls Royce models and it’s worked great from mine. It provides many functions and abilities for these makes. It’ll do a good amount of the things that are commonly needed and provides a lot of usability for diagnosis and testing, you wouldn’t normally have access to. It comes with a digital screen that’s sufficient for the job without having tinny print and it’s easy to navigate. It also offers live data viewing that can be very helpful if you know how to use that data. III. Updates – This product claims to offer free updates for life, while many others I’ve had have an extra cost to update the device after 2 years. Overall, this is a solid scan tool that has worked wonderful for my needs so far. It’s a great device that offers a lot of useful information and abilities to help me be a successful backyard mechanic for multiple cars. I also feel like this product offers a great value currently for the level of quality and what you’re getting. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it. If you’d find it helpful to see an up-close visual inspection of this product, I recommend you watch my included video in full screen. They say a picture is worth a 1000 words, well it’s a video You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product.
