I purchased a Foxwell NT809 when I had an immediate need to do the rear brakes on our Audi Q3. The NT809 advertised the electronic parking brake (EPB) functionality to wind back the motors, allow brake pad replacement, and reset the motors again. Upon receiving the unit, I registered it and did all of the updates. I then attempted to execute the EPB function. While the NT809 connected to the Audi Q3 and was able to run diagnostics, it was giving a connectivity error when attempting the EPB function. I contacted Foxwell support and Christine promptly replied to my email asking for the serial number of the NT809 that I purchased and the VIN number of our car. I sent this information before going to bed that evening. I woke up to an email from Christine recommending that I open the hood of my Audi and try the EPB function again. It turns out that opening the hood on an Audi puts the car into service mode so that it can accept external commands from the NT809. While this may be common knowledge for dealerships or professional mechanics, I have never opened the hood to do a rear brake job :-) The prompt and useful support that Christine and the Foxwell technical support team provided solved my problem and allowed everything to go smoothly. I also want to mention that the NT809 is a great unit and very easy to use. I have really enjoyed working with it on both our 2020 Audi Q3 and my Subaru STI. Certainly recommend this for anyone who wants to work on their own vehicles.

This is a remarkable scanner for the price. So far this scanner has done everything I've needed it to been using for a few weeks and I work at a used car repair shop while it isn't a snapon it is easy to navigate and is user friendly i don't think you can beat it's value for the price am a satisfied customer and highly recommend this scanner

I just received the product and it have CLEARLY been used. The box was broken and badly taped. The machine had no initial charge at all, completely dead battery, and the product itself had no screen protector tape, like new screens do, and it was out of the foam bag that the new ones come into. The bag was crushed under the product. They did not even took the time to properly put the item back in the bag, so probably this unit is defective and they just put a tape on the box and sent to the next person. I am waiting to a response from the vendor but will probably have to return this. Is a shame that they try to scam people this way. If the product is used or open box, they should not be selling it as new. Normally used or open box items have a lower price and are rechecked or refurbished. This is NOT a new product and just creates a bad name on the brand. I will update this review if the seller responds and I see some sort of positive response and actions taken after they tried to scam me. Buy directly from Foxwell. I called Foxwell and they told me the Amazon store is NOT from the Foxwell distributor but "someone else". They told me to buy directly from them to have a better service. So , probably this "Foxwell " store in Amazon is someone getting second rated or refurbished or used products and trying to sell them as new. Please be aware. If I could give negative stars for this scam trial, I would. Quick UPDATE. I charged the unit enough to turn it on, which had zero charge, and confirmed what I knew. This is NOT a new item. It have been used and they left the 2 wifi accounts on which it was before, as well as the previous user gmail account on it. This clearly shows is a used product and they try to sell them as new, when they are now. All open box or used items should be sold as used, not new. And this item had been registered with a Foxwell account, so that will lower the so called 3 year updates or any manufacturer warranty because it carries the serial number on it. NOT good at all. Buyers be AWARE.
