Pain in the butt to install on the app and it broke after my child attempted to clean off his evidence of trying to open it with a wet towel. It no longer turns on even after charging it. Only had it for 2 months and installed for less time. Other child lost the keys. Now I have to replace the door because I couldn’t even find a way to maneuver the latch to break in myself and we just realized the hinges are anti break in also. ... show more

I was skeptical of a device with this many features at this price point. It went together easily, the features work as intended and the setup was straightforward. No hiccups or hassles, it just works. The lock itself is fairly hefty and feels well made. The door locks solidly and feels secure. Note, the lock striker (?)(the part that extends and retracts when you turn the handle) has a faceplate with squared off corners. My door was cut for one with rounded corners. The other dimensions were identical so this was east to fix by just rounding them off. Fingerprint reader works quickly and fit/finish is nice. Can’t comment on battery life yet as I just installed it, but it uses AAA batteries so they will be easy enough to replace. ... show more

You'll need to change the batteries every 3 weeks or less if you use the door multiple times a day.....otherwise this is a great doorknob. All options except, the key card, of unlocking have worked so far, although the fingerprint option is questionable sometimes but that could be my dry skin as this is not an uncommon problem for me on other print-related devices. And the same metal key works to unlock all 3 of the doorknobs I installed. There is a warning for low battery power, but I did not notice it and was not expecting it to happen so soon on the door I use frequently. I installed 3 of these on solid wood doors that are over 100 yrs old so the depth of the fit was a close call. The instructions for installing were clear and easy to understand and the video was helpful. Overall, this doorknob functions as advertised and is a good value for the money and I would buy again. Just be prepared to replace the batteries and remember to keep one of the keys stored where you can access it when the batteries die. ... show more

We needed a solution for the back office door so multiple staff members did not have to bring keys with them. We did not want our patients/customers coming into the back area, so this provided a great solution. Locked immediately after door was closed. Worked perfect. All staff were fingerprinted. Very easy to update/add/remove fingerprint scans. It may take a couple tries for the door to unlock with fingerprint (some of it is user error), but there are 3 other options to unlock. I did not install myself, so I cannot speak to the install process. But it took little to no time for my guy to change things out. The look is sleek and modern, which matches our other door handles. We are buying another door handle for a separate door in the office. Very happy with it and works well for what we need. It has been installed for about a month now. ... show more
