So far seems just fine. I attached the permanent wires to each post in my Maserati GT as it gets driven only in nice weather. Simple to use....punch mode to 12V and that's it. Quick disconnect feature lets me be underway quickly.

I was told that my Harley Davidson Electric Glide needs a larger Trickle charger than the one previously owned. They recommended a 4 to 6 amp unit. . I settled on the 5 amp. I actually had to use it to charge the battery.. Apparently Harley Davidsons bike that are the larger bikes have alot of power draining from the battery. This is common I am told that I should consider putting the charger on every night. I am not sure that I need to do that.. However, I did let the bike stand on its own outside for 4 days and it started. Seems to be holding .. I guess I iwll have to play a little to see where that sweet spot is where the battery dies vs not. ... show more

Some of these reviews crack me up. Some people just don't know how to use common sense. This charger is great. Does everything it's supposed to do, at a price much less than name brand ones. Of course, I have no idea longevity, but I don't expect anything less than acceptable performance. Some people complained about short cords- where are you parking the car? Outside and plugging it in in the garage??? They are great length... if you have to use it in a remote area, expect an extension cord to be necessary... common sense tells you it wont come with 100 fee of cord in a small portable charger.... but its more than long enough to plug into a wall or ceiling outlet and reach the car.     • Cord to short and shuts off if power glitch
Overall this is a nice charger, but….. They advertise a 102” cord set. VERY misleading since they include the plug in cord in this dimension. The low voltage cord is way too short. This unit also looses its setting if power is lost. I am using this as a long term tender on stored car so if a power glitch the unit shuts off. I really don’t want to maintain my maintainer. I have used batter tenders in the past, and they work great but the price is ridiculous! The real deal killer for me is the unit shutting down durring a power glitch. ... show more

My motorcycle battery tender died. After my bike was sitting for a minute without a charge, it wouldn't start. Frustrated, I grabbed the old charger and drove to my local H-D dealership, only to find 1 very expensive kit. I tried Wal-Mart, none in stock. I should've never left the house. Ordered this one, it arrived the next day already set up in the configuration I need, which is to fit a motorcycle pigtail (IYKYK) and plug into an outlet. Easy peasy lemon squeezy. A day later I was back in the saddle. I plug my bike in daily to trickle charge to prevent loss of battery power again. The price is unbeatable . Highly recommend, 5 stars ... show more

    • Resurrected a couple dead batteries; excellent value
My previous trickle chargers showed fail on a couple batteries. I set this charger to repair mode and within a couple days had two serviceable batteries, saving me a couple hundred dollars. Highly recommended.
