Installation was straight forward but the materials are weak and bend too easily. My AC unit is 45 lbs. it cannot bear the weight as advertised. Don’t drill into your good home or expensive windows. You get what you pay for. Worst of all the foot pad slips. I have a wooden sided home that is painted and the rubber doesn’t offer any grip. I had to sink galvanized screws into the house to act as stoppers and removed the rubber pad. Junk. Now I’ll have to order the drill-less version from a far superior company. This might be good for some cheap little bargain units but not for a Frigidaire. I can literally twist the metal components with my hands. Also be aware if you are drilling into your casement window sill you will void the windows warranty. They don’t mention that either. You will need to fill the drill holes with caulking before sinking the screws and caulk afterword as well on the screw heads. I should have waited and ordered the “grown ups” version of a support. What a waste of money.

It was really easy to install. The bracket is very sturdy and holds the AC unit. Better price and material compared to the one sold at Homedepot. I definitely recommend this bracket to anyone looking to install a AC unit.

The hardware is cheap. Mine came with a bent bolt. I just replaced them all with stronger ones that I had in the garage, but the original ones are flimsy. The arm itself seems capable though.

I was worried that this would not be sturdy enough due to the price but it definitely is. We bought a new air conditioner and I wanted it installed perfectly. This was easy to use and made our install super easy.
