I've had many AC condenser covers and they get either shredded or ripped off in the wind. A buddy of mine who is also an HVAC contractor also told me never to use a full cover due to trapping water and condensation in the off season and causing rust / corrosion. Being in the trades all my life, I agree. So far this fall / winter we've had some nasty storms and high winds, up to 65 mph. This cover has not budged. When the time comes, I'll buy another. PS select the slightly larger size since you will be orienting the cover on a diagonal. This will give you slightly better overlap for coverage. So here is an update, with a picture at the start of the 2019 winter season. (second winter) The black color has faded to grey, 'cause it faces due South. There are no signs of pin-holing or tears around the grommets or at the edges. Hope the extra info helps! ... show more

Nice cover but I would place a 1x2 board across the top of the AC unit before installing cover to create a "tent" like slope so rain water and melted snow don't pond in the center.

I measured DIAGONALLY corner to corner. which was about 36". So I ordered the 36" x 36". Installed, and looks just like in the picture it fits perfectly for me. My a/c unit is 29'x29' to install square with the top instead of like in the picture.

Going through it’s first winter so don’t know about it’s durability but it looks well made and strong. Simple to install. The 36”x36” fit my 34”x34” condenser better than I anticipated. Let’s good airflow through the sides and the this keeps the ice and debris out. Yes I recommend it.

I measured the top of my air conditioner and based on that thought that the 32 X32 would be fine to cover the top and hang over like in the picture. When I installed it, I had to really stretch it just to cover the top and there is little to no hang over like in the picture. Needed a cover for the first winter with a new exterior AC unit. A good friend, who is an HVAC tech, said this is much better option vs a full cover as it still lets the unit “breathe” as a full cover may cause condensation in/on the motor bearings over time. This cover seems to be good quality and will hopefully last in the elements. The bungee cords seem to be of good quality as well. I appreciate the extra bungee cord this item comes with.     • Worth it, but hard to fit if you don't have even fins on all sides also small for a 36x36.

The 36x36 fits over my 34x34 but barely covers my 36x36. The small bungees included have plastic protection over their sharp edges and those don't last long. In addition my particular air conditioners don't have fins evenly spread on all four corners. After they blew off in the first wind, I had to go back and add long bungees on one side. That said, having looked at a lot of these, they all look pretty much the same, so you might as well get these and make them fit. ... show more

I bought the 36 x 36 cover since my ac unit measured at 32 x 30. It fits great! One more awesome thing to mention, they sent me 5 bungee cords instead of 4 and I'm so glad they did because one side of my ac unit is smooth. So I connected two bungees together to make a longer bungee and then I connected it to the bottom of the ac unit. Definitely recommend buying this product! ... show more
