First I want to address the delivery of this item. I live in an apartment and was supposed to sign for this item when delivered. Not only did UPS NOT even ring the buzzer so I could come down, let them in and sign (which is the norm), they just left the item outside of the building! I only knew it arrived because I received a text message that they left it outside! This item is EXTREMELY heavy, large and expensive! I could not believe they just left it there like that where someone could have easily stolen it. Wow. I also had to ask someone to help me get this into my apartment because it was too heavy for me to even attempt on my own. Such great delivery! Now onto the product... This is an OK treadmill. I honestly think it is over priced and should cost around $450 max. It's not that impressive looking in person. I bought this one for a few reasons; 1) I live in a small apartment and like that this one folds flat as opposed to on an angle (so it takes up less space when stored) 2) I liked that the ad said that it was quiet and your neighbors will not hear it 3) I liked that it said the belt was wider than normal. Ok so yes, it folds nicely and flat but it is not quiet at all and luckily I live on the first floor otherwise I would not even be able to use this as neighbors below would hear the noise for sure. Also it doesnt seem any wider than any other treadmill in my opinion. So it only got 1 of 3 reasons I bought it. I would also like to comment on the Joroto customer service. As others have mentioned, it is fantastic! I had an issue with the incline function not working at first and they were so fast, friendly and responsive with how to fix it and the issue was resolved quickly. They get an A+ for customer service If you are in the market for a treadmill I'd probably pass on this one. You can get a much better one for this price or pay less for the quality of this one. ... show more

It is a very good treadmill with a perfect size running belt. Incline works. Its Sturdy and has a very low footprint space wise. It arrived and worked just as advertised. One thing about all new treadmills that I dislike and everyone should be aware of is the immediate stopping of the belt once the safety key is pulled. Previously tread mills would gradually slow down wants to safety key is pulled. The newer models the belt comes to an immediate and complete stop with high potential for knee injuries if you were running fast and the safety key gets pulled accidentally. So just be very cautious and don’t have the safety string hanging where you can accidentally pull it when you’re running especially at medium to fast speeds. Other than that this treadmill seems to be great and I will give an update in a few months ... show more

I was disappointed initially with the treadmill that I received. It didn't work after I set it up. I contacted the technical support to report the problem. The technical support team responded promptly and instructed me to check under the motor cover for any loose wire or connection. Surely, I found a loose wire dangling around a connector. After I reconnected the loose wire, checked and re-secured a couple of connected wires, the treadmill started to work fine as to be expected. At the end, the company was nice enough to issue me a partial refund of $150 to compensate for the trouble and inconvenience encountered. I live in a condo and am an avid runner: I wanted a treadmill that I can mainly use to do interval/speed training, my husband wants one to do walking and light jogging. I love this treadmill because it folds up completely, can be stored horizontally or vertically, is fast (9mph), and has auto incline. This is the only treadmill I could find - after much searching - that checked all the boxes for us but still cost less than $1000. It is sturdy to the point of being beefy. That is the only drawback IMO is that is is a bit heavy, but since I want it to go really fast plus being able to adjust the incline at a turn of the wheel, I figure it needs to be a heavy. It does have wheels, so once you get it on the wheels it’s fine to move. I have had no issues with it yet and am enjoying using it. ... show more

I needed a smaller, compact, foldable, and affordable treadmill for my garage gym. After some research I found this Joroto IW9 treadmill and it turned out to be the best choice for my garage. It’s compact and really easy to set up. The box doesn’t come with many parts or the set up so it took me about 10 minutes to put together. My favorite part is how you can fold it and wheel it anywhere you want like standing up against a wall or under a couch or bed. I personally stand mine up against a wall of the garage when im not using it so I can have more space to do other exercises. The treadmill has very user friendly features and it even inclines which I like because it mimics uphill running. I’m very satisfied with this product! ... show more

    • Does not hold up well

We’ve had it for a few months. Constantly squeaking and needing belt realignment even though we are under weight limit and lubricating the belt. it can only fold flat by getting manually loosening bolts every time. And treadmill/display does not shut off unless you flip the red master switch under the treadmill each time. Not worth the cost, would recommend going with a different one ... show more

After so much searching, never in my wildest dreams did I think I could find a treadmill that: 1. NO assembly required 2. Compact with horizontal storage 3.AND still has automatic incline I just happened to stumble upon this during Amazon Prime Day. Not sure why it didn't show up previously in my hundreds of searches, so very grateful! Customer support is also responsive- another plus! Love the treadmill! Simple, durable and folds flat which is nice. The reason I gave 4 stars is because the two back covers that go over the belt were broken upon arrival.
