  • It Really Is Light Weight and Easy To Assemble
Style: LITE-Blue
I searched for months and months to find a scooter that was really light weight and easy to lift. It was necessary I find a scooter I could handle myself. I am a woman over 70, my husband is in his 80's . We can disassemble this scooter and lift the main body into my SUV. My husband can ride it around the store easily. It holds a charge for a long time. ... show more

  • this scooter gave my husband his mobility back!

This scooter - my husband calls it his "Metro" - has given my husband back a little of his independence. He has Parkinson's disease and is unable to walk safely any distance. With this scooter he can walk the dog, visit neighbors, and get to his man-shed to tinker with his tools. thanks for keeping the price affordable too. ... show more

  • The ad said a person with loss of use of arm or leg could manage it. atnot true it weighed 101lbs.
Style: Red
It was supposed to be lightweight could easilyy to put in the car and was foldable. it weighed 101 lbs and no way could be lifted into the car by an elderly. When I sent it to the company I was charged 212.50 for the return postage. Not happy with the additional charge being on a fixed income.

  • Great ride

This is a great scooter my dad gets around in it with no problem. Didn't give it 5 stars because it is bigger than my trunk. Other than that it stays charged for 3 days when he was not able to use it. When he goes goes go he gets 1 full day out of a full charge

  • Good and Bad
Style: Red
I am a 70% disabled Veteran needing the use of a power chair. I have a Quantum Q6 Edge given to me by the VA, but I needed a backup, a "spare" should my Q6 need service. The Mobility Scooter seemed like an affordable choice. After charging the suggested 12 hours before first use, I rode the scooter to the nearby Walmart, about 2 miles away using sidewalks. The scooter manual says the device can travel up to 10 miles on a charge and runs at a maximum of 4.9 mph -- depending on a few factors like terrain and the weight of the user. Well -- I don't think it ran more than 3 mph. It is dreadfully slow. There are no points where straps can be attached on a bus to secure the scooter. So, boarding a bus is not possible. The battery meter is a big visual help in determining how much batter power remains. Because the scooter is so slow, I won't be using it beyond local/nearby destinations and because I cannot board a bus with it. Advantages to this scooter is the device can be broken down without the need of tools to load it into a car trunk or SUV. My Q6 weighs 350 lbs, so that option does not exist. The horn is loud. It has an LED headlight and brake light. There is a variable speed control and a "beeping" sound when backing up. For someone with big feet, the "floor space" is too short. The seat cannot be raised high enough to make sitting comfortable for a tall person. Another advantage is the basket in front. Although is is rather small in size, it is better than carrying items in my lap when I use my Q6. After returning home, charging up the battery again is also -- slow. You must allow several hours for a complete recharge. The tiller is adjustable forward and back. The seat swivels left and right to allow ease of getting onto and off of the scooter. Overall -- I am glad I have a scooter that I can load into a vehicle and take with me and an affordable alternative to my Q6. However, it is not meant to be used on anything but inside a bldg or on sidewalks. Once I arrived inside the Walmart, the ride was faster and smoother. Sidewalks tend to slow the scooter down. For some, this scooter would be great means of transportation for the elderly/disabled under certain conditions. For me -- it is a backup, a spare, giving my Q6 Edge a break from wear & tear. P.S. the price dropped on both the scooter and shipping. If you want one get it now. ... show more
