Thought it was a bit pricey but well worth the expense. This is the only ladder I could find that has a small mount footprint. Most wall-mounted units have long extensions downwards that would not have worked for my loft access location. It was pretty easy to install with two guys and went up in about 20 minutes. Climbs really well and operates just like in their video. Product seems well made and is sturdy enough for a 200 lb guy like me to be comfortable using it. Not as rigid as an extension ladder but that was not expected. Only complaint is the excessive packaging. Product is VERY well packed. They must have experienced issues at some point because the packaging they now use is ridiculous. Filled three 20 gallon trash bags with stretch wrap and EPS foam. A lot of plastic that isn’t recyclable. Not to mention the six 1/8” plywood panels and the double-wall cardboard box. That said, the ladder arrived in perfect condition. Good product so far and would recommend.

The ladder does what it does... get used to the bouncy step action as it is spring loaded. And because mine was next to a wall, I installed a hand rail just in case for balance. The ladder is super strong. At 220 lbs I went up and jumped up and down all the way just to test it. If you add the 2 extra steps, use the included tool, or steel rod in my case, to adjust the spring tension... Put the tool into the lowest hole near the bolt on the spring wheel. (Note: the bolt is not screwed in; it is free and will most likely drop out on the next step)...Give it some muscle and lift up until you see the next available hole past the bolt or where the bolt originally was. Put the bolt in the new hole and turn the bolt so the head is resting on one of it's sides. Slowly release the tension until the bolt catches; you may have to carefully hold the sides of the bolt to keep it in as you release the tension. Do this on both sides and I guarantee the ladder isn't going to fall down.

Really happy with the ladder and how easy it is to get down and put back up. They should provide a mounting template for easier installation but I just made my own from some MDF I had lying around. It takes at least 2 people to install but goes really quick with 3. I bought some carriage bolts because I was mounting through some thicker boards than the bolts provided would fit.

I bought this a little while ago for the loft in my garage and just installed 10/14/25. I used the extra 2 steps to make it not a steep step. First impression is I like it. I can’t attest to the longevity of the product yet. The pull down handle/rod is flimsy in my opinion but works.

This ladder was exactly what I needed. All I had was a 2 x 6 to mount this to. Most of the other ones you need a complete wall the price was a little high, so there was an option to buy one used at half the price. What an awesome deal can’t say enough.

I purchased this in May for a project we were starting. I just installed it this past week so here is a review. Customer service before the sale - I had a few questions before ordering related to size and mounting. I contacted the seller twice and the response was quick and the information accurate. Shipping - the product was shipped within 48 hours of ordering. The packing was outstanding. The folded stairs were wrapped in bubble wrap. They were in a wooden crated fully lined with 2 inch styrofoam. Not a scratch on them. The hardware for concrete walls was included. I was going into wood so I picked up the lags that I needed. For the install, I spent about 20 minutes to make a cardboard template and drilled pilot holes. The install took two people after that and about 5 minutes of time. Basically I held the stairs in place and my brother in-law sunk the lag bolts with a cordless driver. Done. This are nice and sturdy. The project is a she-shed for my wife, and she loves them. She says they are so much nicer than the ladder she used to paint her storage loft area. The entire process beginning to end was great. If you have a use for these stairs I would recommend you consider them over the folding wooden attic ladders.

The ladder was fairly easy to install with 2 people. The ladder is very heavy and stiff and takes a quite a bit of effort to pull down and push back to position. After adding the 2 additional steps, it was even more difficult to pull down and push back up. I waited too long for someone to install this for me so missed the return window. Definitely not a good fit for women or men over 50. This is pretty much unusable for me :-(. Will probably have to spend another $800 for a lighter model.
