For those of you who have seen my previous reviews, you know that I 'speak truth to power' and don't pull punches. From an audio perspective, this might be the best headset of this type that I've ever used - and I'm always looking for the latest and greatest - all of my relatives and friends have my hand-me-downs that are far better than what they had. This is a very niche market item. since the vehicle codes in all US states and most countries prohibit driving with a headset that covers both ears, this one leaves one ear open. I'm not a trucker, but I frequently visit noisy factory floors and sometimes need to make calls from there. To date, my favorite headset was an over the ear with a boom microphone - it worked fairly well on their end, but I had a hard time following the conversation because it didn't seal well around the ear. And this is one of the areas where the 450 stands out - and it is also the feature that gets the most complaints - in part because it is misunderstood. The earpad reduces noise so well because it sits ON the ear, not over it, so the initial feeling is that it squishes your ear, but it is actually quite comfortable after you've worn it a bit. The second area where this headset is better than others is with the microphone that - almost magically - removes virtually every sound except what is coming from your mouth. I had a conversation while using a leafblower and my caller heard something far off but not annoying - they assumed I was indoors and they heard the neighbor's lawn mower off in the distance. When I was on the receiving end of a call when someone used this headset, I heard virtually no noise. Of course, YOU will still hear the noise because one ear is uncovered, but you'll also be hear your caller. Because you hear your caller so well, it is unlikely that you'll speak loudly because of the noise around you. there is Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) built in as well as 'talk through' - which uses the microphone to essentially bring the outside world to that ear as well - making it sound as if you're not wearing a headset at all. The buttons are large and easy to find - no tiny little buttons or fancy gestures that sometimes don't work. the app works well and helps you set up some of the features. If you need to make calls in a high noise environment, then this is the headset for you - the sound quality on the other side is exceptional. If you're looking for something for listening to music other than background noise, then this is not the headset for you. It isn't cheap, but I would order these again. A solid five-stars IF you are buying these for the right reasons. ... show more

    • Excellent headset for long days behind the wheel
As a truck driver, I’ve gone through more headsets than I can count, and BlueParrott has consistently been one of the brands I trust. I used this B450 Pro during long routes, and it performs exactly the way a professional driver needs it to. The standout feature is the noise cancellation. Whether I’m driving with the windows down, running the A/C on high, dealing with road noise, or sitting near idling trucks, callers can hear me clearly. Several people I spoke with had no idea I was calling from inside a truck. The incoming audio is also excellent. The active noise cancellation helps reduce background distractions, making conversations easier to hear without cranking the volume all the way up. Comfort is another area where this headset shines. I routinely wear a headset for hours at a time, and the ear cushion and headband padding make a noticeable difference during long shifts. It stays secure without feeling overly heavy or creating pressure points. Battery life has been outstanding. I can go multiple workdays before thinking about charging it, and the fast charging feature is useful when I do need a quick boost before heading back out. Bluetooth connectivity has been reliable as well. Pairing was simple, and the connection stays stable whether I’m in the cab, walking around the truck during inspections, or loading equipment nearby. The voice controls are convenient when driving, and the customizable button allows quick access to the functions I use most often. Overall, this is an excellent headset for truck drivers, delivery drivers, equipment operators, or anyone who spends long hours on calls in noisy environments.     • Great Battery, great sound and well built!
I have been using this wireless headphones for work and I am incredibly happy with them. What impressed me the most right away was the battery life. I work in a call center taking calls throughout the day for about 8 hours at a time and this headset can easily last for several days without needing to be charged. That alone makes a huge difference because I never have to worry about running out of battery in the middle of my shift. The sound quality is excellent and it has performed very well every day since I started using it. Now my definite favorite feature is the mono design, having one ear uncovered allows me to stay aware of my surroundings and hear what's happening around me while still taking calls. The headset is also very comfortable to wear for long periods. It feels sturdy and well built. My only criticism is the packaging. For a headset of this quality and price point the packaging feels surprisingly basic and gives off a cheaper impression than the product deserves.     • Long battery life, crisp sound coming and going
This headset is just a win by any measurement. It's smart enough that those with newer phones will be presented with an actual image of your headset when pairing; the process, on some Android phones, will then also give you the app that allows you to control them onscreen and set the function button. This all happens automatically. I LOVE it. I've charged them once in the several days that I've had them (four days or so, several hours at a time with call and some media audio). They're currently at 60%. The noise cancelling is THOROUGH, both being processed through the microphone or the earphone. Your background noise might as well not exist. Hearthrough mode is not entirely pleasant (TV audio becomes a bit sharp to my ear) when listening through speakers, versus in-person audio, where it's nice and clear, without the sharpness. Experience & Comfort: This is not my first headset from this brand, as I own several different models and can easily compare them. Compared to a similar over-the-head style I’ve used before, this model is significantly more comfortable. The top headband cushioning and the side pad are incredibly soft. The earpad itself is on the smaller side—it doesn't go completely around the ear but sits directly on it, with the soft center aligned perfectly over the ear canal. The padding material is exceptionally soft and pleasant against the skin. Design & Performance: The headset has a very sleek and stylish look. Compared to my previous headsets, the microphone boom with its elongated foam windscreen looks modern and professional. It was very easy to connect to my device, and the audio performance is great, delivering clear and crisp sound. So I thought blue parrot might have listened to all the comments regarding the tiny earpads but nope, they did not. This thing presses up against the outer ear. it won't fit anyone except children and infants. I find it hard to fathom how a company can fetch $200 for a product with such a fundamental design flaw. I really like this BlueParrott headphone. It paired almost immediately with my iPhone. The instructions weren’t the greatest, but I eventually figured it out. At first the headset felt a bit tight and sore on my head, but then I discovered it’s adjustable. Once I adjusted it, it fit comfortably. I’m not sure why they market this specifically to commercial truckers. It can be used by anyone who needs hands-free calling. For example, my son uses it when he’s cutting grass on our two-acre property with a large, very loud commercial mower. Before, if I needed to reach him I’d have to go outside and wave my arms to get his attention. Now I can just call him from inside the house while he’s mowing. It also has an app you can download that lets you customize just about anything to suit your needs. The headset can connect to up to 8 phones, with two phones working simultaneously. The noise cancellation is the main highlight, it does an excellent job cutting out road noise and background chatter so your voice stays clear on calls. The microphone performance is consistently reliable, which is exactly what you want for hands-free communication on the go. Comfort is another win. The padding is thick and designed for long wear, and it doesn’t feel overly tight even after several hours. The battery life is also a big advantage—being able to get multiple days of use on a single charge is genuinely convenient for full-time drivers or heavy users. That said, it’s very much function first. The mono design and bulky build mean it’s not ideal for music or casual listening, and it definitely looks more like professional gear than something sleek or lightweight. It also takes a bit of getting used to if you’ve never worn a single-ear headset before.
