The media could not be loaded. I take so long to research items I want to purchase as I did with these lights. I read all the reviews and decided to move forward. Now a few details for everyone...yes it's 48ft but from first light to last light it is 36ft. So if you're trying to measure the exact area of coverage, then this is what you use. Now the bulb brightness...I was skeptical when I saw .5 watts per bulb. Is this going to put out the light I'm looking for compared to others? Turns out strange enough it is. It's just right. It highlights the area it does not dominate. The different color selections and patterns are perfect and unique. Something else unique that you don't see everywhere...it has TWO whites! one of them is your typical yellowish hue around the soft white color spectrum and you press it again and it gives you true bright white around the 3500-4200 color range. You see string lights all over but you don't see lights like these. I will be ordering another set to wrap around a little farther. Night compressed video never really shows justice and I'm hard to please with technology...I am pleased with this purchase. ... show more

The lights are nice but....... beware the length of lights you will receive are not 48feet! From the first light to the last light is only 36feet! With a 12foot cord for plug-in! The description is inaccurate and needs to say 36 feet. Not a happy costumer! I had the Feit color changing 48’ set from Costco. After two years two of the three sets that I bought are junk! But at least there 48’ sting lights are 48’ long! So if you are happy with color changing light set that’s only 36’ them buy them....but if you need 48’ of lights then this is not the set to buy. Revised after contacting company they made good on my purchase. Excellent customer service! I always like the lights I just hope they revise the length you will receive. ... show more

Love them! Super easy to install, strong lighting with dimming options. Lots of individual color choices including a warm white light. And an option to have multi-color. Like that you can change the way the lights flash or don't flash. Fade is our favorite. The color slowly fades from one color to another. And even more FUN, you can set them do they flash to the music or your voice. The media could not be loaded. I looked for something like this FOREVER. They get buried by all the cheap rolls of self adhesive led lights when you search for them. Those rolls of led lights might be great for under the counter or bed but they look like crap strung from the ceiling. These are perfect. They are decorative and will look ‘pretty’ in my daughters bedroom. And the power cord is extra long - so much better than every other one I’ve seen or bought. They come with what appears to be an rf remote - no need to ‘point’ the remote at the lights to get it to work. I must say these are the best lights I’ve seen - I think I’m going to buy a set for my camper next. My only complaint is ‘strobe’ is not really a strobe function. You can get a good strobe function with it set to music but my daughter wanted the old fashion disco strobe effect and this doesn’t appear to do that when set to strobe. It’s not even a big enough deal to warrant removing part of a star - these things appear to be 5 star all the way. They come with an extra bulb but if they are as strong as the appear to be you might not need it. I’m going to wrap them up and put them under the tree now - I’ll update my review if we have any issues with longevity. ... show more

Got these for the camper awning. They look nice and have a ton of colors and settings. They are not nearly as bright as I had expected but it works great for the camp site. Last trip we got caught in 2 days of thunderstorms and they held up great, the nice quality connections keep it weather proof. The only complaint is I'd like to have a override power switch somewhere, that way you could still operate them when the kids inevitably misplace the remote. ... show more
