Nice lamp with different lighting options. Especially good for work lighting and also for a room that requires lighting for video calls. It's functional lighting, but not a very aesthetically pleasing piece. That's fine. My gripe is with quality. The lamp was loose and therefore tilting on the base, despite being tightened all the way. Had to be fixed with other tools and I think ultimately plumbers' tape to hold it straight and tight. Luckily someone else in my house was willing to make this fix. I would have returned it. ... show more

Love the torchiere! Easy to assemble and you can't see the seams once screwed together. Nice to have the flexibility of different lights turned on, pointing in different directions, multiple lighting levels and colors. I'm thinking about a second one....

I bought this for a bedroom and loved it so much I purchased one for the family room. It allows each light to be independently controlled. With one directed up and one directed down I have both room light and reading like. I love the warm light setting, which is great for the evening when we are winding down. I also love the preset “coffee” setting (it’s a picture of a coffee cup) as it starts off very bright to help me wake up and then goes a little more yellow and dimmer after a few minutes. I highly recommend this lamp. But, if you get two, then be aware the remote is strong enough that using it on one light will also interact with the other light. I still love the lights. So, I’m not returning it. But, it’s an unanticipated downside of having two. So, maybe just get one. I might give the other one to my parents if this becomes super annoying. But, again, I really love the options associated with this lamp. I’m still giving it five stars, though, because it’s that great. ... show more

Awesome design! Even the packaging was well-engineered. Great quality--the pole screws together securely without the seam being noticeable at all. If I lose the remote, it's ok, because the controls also are built into the pole. But the remote is so fun to play with--so many different colors and brightnesses--even programmable to your own preference if you don't like the default options. Sometimes I get tired of buying junk on Amazon that isn't what it appears to be, but this far exceeded my expectations. It even already has padding on the base, so I didn't have to attach cushions to protect my floor. EXCELLENT VALUE! Thank you!!! ... show more

I leave VERY few reviews - maybe 2-3 a year. Something has to be really good...or really bad for me to take the time to post a review. This is a great looking light, with a very modern look & design. It is extremely versatile, and provides everything from a lovely, low, orangeish mood light, all the way up to a bright 6500 white reading light. Both the temperature and brightness can be adjusted independently for each light. The design allows you to have both reflective and direct light, by rotating each light independently. The remote takes a minute to get used to, but not due to a bad design, there is just a lot of adjustability, and you can adjust everything from the remote. ... show more
