It is the highest quality cooler I've ever owned but keeping ice for10 days? More like 4. Lowest temp was 38F, and it hovered around 42-43F. Nice looking, great seal, lots of room, but unless you place a solid ice block in it and never open it, it won't do 10 days.

This is a really great cooler. It keeps ice for days. It can also keep hot things hot. I cooked my Thanksgiving turkey ahead of time. I wrapped it in foil and threw it in this bad boy with a bunch of towels. It was still hot after 3 hours in the cooler!! I really like the drain plug too. It is really easy to unscrew and drain out any water in your cooler. One con is the weight. This is a pretty hefty cooler when it is empty. Adding weight like a bunch of cans, ice, and other stuff still definitely make carrying it a two-man job. ... show more

This cooler will pay for itself pretty fast as far as saving money on ice. My old cooler was very small and could hardly hold anything. This cooler is a little bit too big for me. I wish Amazon had the step down from this but they didn't so I ended up buying this one. I was going through a bag of ice a day in the old cooler. Constantly throwing food away that would fall into the melted ice water. Now I buy two bigger bags of ice at a time but they last about 4 to 7 days. I'm guessing when the weather is colder they will last 7 days plus. On very hot days it might last 3-4 days. I drain the water every morning. When I first bought it I was testing it and it wasn't getting super hot but had kind of hot days cooler was in the van and it usually lasted about 4 days. Which is a lot nicer than having to replace my ice every single day regardless. It costs a lot of money but it's a good investment and will pay for itself pretty fast if you use a cooler all the time. ... show more
