the shelf is big enough to fit me! im over weight about 50 pounds. i don't feel like i'm going to fall off of it, it feels stable. i like that its a corner seat so it remains out of the way. it is easy to assemble, mounting it it easy, putting tiles over it takes some time mostly because you have to cut the tiles. the color is a silver but once your tiles go over it it can be any color that you want. the functionality is space saving, high quality seat for a standing shower.
