I bought this for my husband who requested a chair for sitting at the bathroom sink. His stability has been declining and this chair meets the need for adjustability, folding, and the stability of arm rests and back support. I’m also using it when chronic pain is too much for standing. Our master bath shower has a built in seat, so we didn’t need this chair for that purpose.

I ordered this chair after breaking my hip, since I could not stand in the shower. It is stable in the bathtub, and has handholds on the sides. I'm able to bathe in a steady position. I should note that a friend of mine who was looking for a shower stool, when I told her about this one, said it wouldn't fit in her tub. I think it would fit in most tubs, but potential buyers should take measurements before ordering to be sure it will fit. And it's not designed for anyone over 300 pounds.

Very sturdy chair. I used it after my total knee replacement and it worked exactly as it should. It folds decently to be moved out the way when not in use. The nonskid feet do their job well as in you aren't sliding all over the tub or shower. My only complaint is that it isn't made for big butts. The arms are kind of low and dig into my hips/butt. Other than that, I think it's wonderful.
