Had a water softener and pre-filter 5micron , continuous maintenance , hassle with bags of salt in a very small area . Softener valve locked up and broke , never really solved iron problem , searched for alternatives for iron only problems without adding salt to water ( not needed, not hard water ). came across the 5600sxt air injection with natural catalyst that removes iron in suspension and also removes magnesium and some pesticides / chemicals through capture and backwash. Worth a shot because it can also be used with a salt reservoir if it was needed later , but it is not needed. Installed after pre-filter , added another clear body 20" post filter to be able to monitor condition of non dissolved solids . Performed initial setup as per instructions and after 24 hr set in first cycle then opened into system , instant success . NOTE: Installation , some plumbing knowledge is definitely needed. Water taste great , no discoloration at all and suprisingley not as loud as the softener used to be . The softener always left an oily film and strange flavor to the water , it tested fine but was not great . This new set up is much better than it ever was !

Let me just say this thing is awesome. I was skeptical that it would work but I’m glad I bought it. I was having to change my filter every 10 days and it’s was packed with iron. I installed this and noticed the difference. Now my filter is perfectly white even after a month of use. Couldn’t be happier.

I waited over a year to review this unit so I could give it an honest opinion. From the very first hour after installation my smelly egg odor was completely gone, and it has remained the same since. After cleaning the iron and blue copper stains from the toilets and other appliances they never returned. I wish they had these 50 years ago. It doesn't use any chemicals, so I regenerate it every night as recommended by Kelly. She is the best if you have any questions. The valve is easy to program, and their shipping was very good. I would definitely recommend this unit if your well fits into this category.

This product has changed my life (yes a bit dramatic) but we had the most iron rich water I have ever seen (North Carolina well water) Everything was orange! The tub, the shower liner, the sink, the toilet, the toilet tank like Clemson Orange. I would spend over an hour every week cleaning. We finally decided we had to do something and of course the well companies quoted us $ 3500 so we started doing some research and we came across this product … I will not lie when I say I was skeptic. I just didn’t think this one “machine” could fix all my problems. I was THE MOST wrong!! When I tell you I don’t even see a hint of orange anymore i mean it. I’m writing this review after three months and not having had to scrub anything in that time. This product is worth every penny, dime, nickel, all of it!! It was wonderful and not difficult at all to install (as long as your well house is tall enough). Also their customer service was top tier! Our initial filter got lost and was never delivered so we simply called these guys, they sent one over promptly and gave their sincerest apologies. If you’re thinking about it …. BUY IT!! Sincerely, Your biggest fan!

I was worried that this wouldn't work great for me since my PH is on the lower level at 6.5-6.8 but I went ahead and ordered it anyway. I am glad I did because it works great, there are no more iron stains in the shower or in the toilet. My water before this filter came out very clear and with very little sediment but had 7ppm dissolved iron. This filter completely removed the iron and now my water tests show 0ppm iron.
