I bought three of these because I like them so much. I've had them for a couple months now and all doing great. I live in an older house so I needed two prong electric connection, but my laptop and many other appliances require three prong. These 2prong to 3prog power strips are a great compromise to paying an electrician a fortune to replace my home's entire ancient electric system, The USB's on the strip charge my phone quickly, just as fast as my phone's OEM "Ultra fast charger" that came with my phone. I've had no problem with workmanship or durability. One of the strips I take witth me when I leave the house and it's held up to the abuse of being folded up into my laptop case, taken back out, and moved repeatedly very well. This is my second plug for cruising. The first one did not have a cord. Thankfully while traveling with my daughter she had one with a cord. As the shelf in our room was high and I was unable to reach to the back plug to charge my phone, kindle etc. Much easier using hers with a cord. Great product with no surge protector. So, I’m not going on a cruise anytime soon (after the latest norovirus disaster), but I still wanted one of these kinds of outlet extenders. I thought it might be handy since I’m traveling back and forth between my home and my parents’ regularly, and staying nights there, needing my chargers. I looked hard for something with two USB-C ports, as that’s what I really needed. I didn’t want to have to pack the little transformers with me, wanted my iPad and Watch charging cords to be enough. And my phone is still on a lightning cable, so that worked fine with the regular USB part. I’ve taken it home a few times for this, and it’s so much simpler/less painful than taking the big outlet surge protector I was carting home and then having to set back up in my room at my charging station every time. Now I leave that alone, take this compact thing home with just the three cables, and everything is easy to set up and take down each time. When I’m at my house, I use it in the living room for charging, and it’s rather useful there as well. But its real magic is for travel, with the flat plug and the woven cable and the USB-C ports. I’m not sure about fast charging with this. I think that only works when one thing is plugged in, and I usually have three. But the description says that if one USB-C port is used, it will provide fast charging. That could be handy; I don’t care for that too much for overnight use, since fast charging wears out the batteries more quickly than regular charging does. (True in electric cars, too—all lithium batteries, I suppose) I know the power management software is supposed to help, but I still don’t try to fast charge anything unless I’m in a time crunch from lack of preparation or an overactive GPS… If I needed another, I’d buy this again happily. It does what it needs to at a decent price, has a nice appearance, and so far doesn’t mind traveling twice a week. ... show more

I got two and decided I need 2 or 3 more. Cable management in my home is much easier now. My USB-C cords don't need adapters. Furniture that needs to be against the wall can actually be against the wall. I can put my lamps where I want them and charge anything I need to charge pretty much anywhere. I have never been a fan of cords. Outlets are never in the right place. I can stick these where I need them and plug anything into them. ... show more
