I got the Spider Farmer AC5 Power Strip for my grow room and its sooo nice for what I was aiming for. I was using an Inkbird controller for humidity and some old timers for my lights before. They worked fine but they were nowhere as easy as this. This power strip swapped out both and added some cool extras. It has five outlets I can mess with one by one, so my lights, fans, and humidifier are all plugged into it now. No more dealing with timers for the lights, it takes care of the schedule no problem. The Inkbird’s gone too since it handles humidity on its own. What really sold me is how it monitors VPD, soil EC, and water content. I’d been wanting to watch those numbers closer and the sensors it comes with track all that on that app. Setup was smooth. Took me a couple minutes to get it on my WiFi. The RJ12 cords they give you for the sensors are long enough to reach anywhere in my space. It was all calibrated out of the box too, just plug n' play. The app is nice as well. Set it up quick and its simple to use. I can adjust my lights or humidifier from my couch and check VPD, EC, and WC whenever I feel like it. Everything’s right there, no clutter or confusion. All in all, its been a solid grab. It could save you money and time if you were planning on buying a bunch of different devices that do exactly what this does, and those devices wouldn't all be on one app. I’m happy with how its going so far!

I have decided to go with Spider farm so everything plugs and lays an overall pretty happy. This controller lets me go full automation which is great for balancing heat and humidity and watering which really helps especially if you want to go away for a few days. So far spider farm has not disappointed! Just need the dehumidifier to complete my setup but my regular house one has to work for now. Unless spider farm wants to donate to the cause!

Trying to connect my heater is very trivial. Can’t find any videos, just not working for me. They should have made the heater Bluetooth capable. The diagram in the manual is just that. After the cords are connected then what? Normally use the company that starts with V and I should got their heater. Sucks

The Spider Farmer GGS AC5 Power Strip Kit is a great option for growers seeking detailed control over their grow environment using an app-based system. It's designed to streamline the management of multiple grow devices and automate various functions based on environmental sensors. Key Benefits: App-Based Control: Manage SF Series (excluding SF1000D, SF300, SF600), G Series, and SE Series LED grow lights remotely through the Spider Farmer app. This allows for precise scheduling, adjusting brightness, and even simulating sunrise and sunset effects. Environmental Automation: The AC5 power strip integrates seamlessly with a GGS Temp Humid Light Sensor to automate heaters, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, and supplemental lights based on temperature, humidity, and day/night cycles. You can even set CO₂-triggered modes. Custom Grow Schedules: Build custom grow schedules to automate lighting, fans, and temperature across each plant stage through the Spider Farmer app. Multiple Outlets: The AC5 power strip features 5 independent outlets, allowing you to power and control up to 5 separate devices. Sensor Integration: The kit includes a 3-in-1 Soil Sensor to monitor soil moisture, temperature, and electrical conductivity, providing essential data for healthy plant growth and proper watering schedules. Plug and Play: Users find the GGS AC5 power strip easy to set up and integrate with other Spider Farmer equipment, making it a convenient solution for optimizing grow environments. Things to Keep in Mind: Compatibility: While the AC5 power strip works with many Spider Farmer lights, it does not support SF1000D, SF300, and SF600 models. Internet Connection: For full functionality and remote control, a stable Wi-Fi connection is required. Additional Sensors: CO₂ and PPFD sensors are not included with the AC5/AC10 Smart Power Outlet and need to be purchased separately for more comprehensive environmental control. Overall: The Spider Farmer GGS AC5 Power Strip Kit provides an advanced and user-friendly solution for automating and controlling your grow environment. The ability to manage multiple devices and build custom grow schedules through the app is a major advantage for optimizing plant growth and maximizing yields. The integration with various sensors allows for precise environmental control, leading to healthier plants. Despite needing a separate purchase for CO₂ and PPFD sensors, the AC5 Power Strip Kit is a valuable investment for growers looking to elevate their grow operation.

This product hit the price point, covered all the control features I needed, and was a quick easy solution to get up and running fast to start seeds in the grow tent for the spring plant. I run six 4 foot LED grow lights in a 7X5X3 VIvosun grow tent with 5 shelves, one 350 W steam humidifier (used GW $4.00) and A small PTC heater ( used GW $2.00), a Spider Farme oscillating fan and inline ducted fan. All 10 outlets are populated. Set was easy but the instruction are minimalist at best and required more fiddling around and figuring out than expected in a well developed system. I've only been running for 3 weeks now and the system is capable of holding the temperature and humidity close enough. I did not rate this unit at 5 start as I have only been using it for three weeks and the phone app is more basic than I would like. I would like to be able to rename the outlets to match there application, heater, humidifier, lights, etc, Oline WiKi manual would be great. More functions on the graph, currently all there is, is the temp, humidity and VPD that's all that you get. I would like to to see a graph track for each outlet. Data granularity is in 5 minute buckets which seems a bit long for a control system, I would like to see options to select sampling rates from 1 to 5 minutes. best of luck I have had good luck with Spider Farmer products.
