It take 2 strong people to hold the log and one on a large drill praying that you don't severely injured yourself when the drill suddenly stops when it hits a knot. This product bills itself as a convenient alternative to log splitters. It is just the opposite. It’s ineffective and poses some hazards if you are not careful. The bits often jam, resulting in either a lot of torque on your wrist or the log wildly spinning around. It’s faster and safer just using an ax than the drill bits. ... show more
