This was a very critical tool for cleaning my evaporator coil. I bout a business condo that's about 46 years old. I don't think the central unit has been replaced within the last 20 years or more. I had an AC guy come out to clean the coil. He wouldn't. Said that the coil would be damaged if it were cleaned because of how old it is and because it was all soft copper. Wanted me to buy a $4,600 unit or more. The system keeps my shop nice and cold so I decided to clean it myself. My coil was caked with dirt, dust, mold, you name it. It was there. And thick. It was the consistency of potting soil but I had a layer of it in my coils. It took several times; spraying with cleaner, brushing with this tool and repeat. Over and over and over again. The tool was fabulous. I can't express enough how well it worked. This was no easy task but without it, I would have not been able to get the job done. Now my AC flows well and works a lot less to cool my shop down. This tool did not damage any fins or cause any problems. Nor did it break. It is still in perfect condition. I'll add pics later.

I found this coil brush to be a very useful tool for cleaning my HVAC system. It allowed me to easily reach the edges and corners of my evaporator coil. After cleaning, the temperature of the air coming from the vents dropped by several degrees, showing that the system was working more efficiently. The brush is compact, sturdy, and well designed. I was also glad to see that it did not bend or damage any of the fins during use. For the price, this is a great investment for anyone looking to keep their AC system running at peak performance for longer.

Excellent! I had a old air conditioner, the fins were packed with dust and grime, and started molding...I tried sprays to clean it out, and it just matted into more of a cake of grime...Then...I bought this brush. I started brushing and the crud started coming out in flakes. I brushed and brushed until all the dirt was gone. It worked, and straightened out the bent fins -- WOW! After I was done I rinsed the brush and it looked as good as when I started. Quality brush that works....

My air conditioner technician told me the coil needed cleaning ( few hundred $$). I bought this set, put on a mask, glasses and hat. I then crawled into the return vent and cleaned the coil. Worked great!
