Absolute junk… if it cost maybe a third I’d say okay. But for this price I can barely get the recover to ever pick up the laser. The laser stops randomly all the time and battery life is junk. I wish I could get my money back and just go get a topcon.

We bought this for two critical functions, to check elevation and also shoot a laser on a level plane. Unfortunately only half worked. We build outside and the elevation function worked fine, even at long distances. Where we had a lot of trouble, enough that we ended up returning it was that the laser level was nonexistent outside beyond 3’ of the laser. So imagine wanting a level laser line inside of a pool shell so you can lay tile and you can’t see the laser. So we are talking like 8’ radius you are unable to see the laser line outside. Even inside the laser line was very difficult to see when we tested it but we thought it was because it wasn’t fully charged. Do not buy this if you need the laser level functionality outside.     • Grade lasers are not for shooting a beam on to a wall it’s for shooting grade !!!

To all the people that think grade lasers are supposed to project a line onto a wall or whatever else. This is not the tool so don’t say it doesn’t work you need to buy a laser that is ment to project a beam into a wall
