The installation of my new door handle and deadbolt were very easy, and took me no longer than 45 minutes to install and program codes and fingerprints. Mine was a replacement, and not a new installation, so I did not need to drill any holes, or chisel any cutouts for any of the plates. The fit was pretty good, although the square hole cover plate for the inside door handle didn’t quite cover the hole cutout on the inside. It doesn’t look bad, and is something I may try to go back and fix by taking the handle back off and patching the outer edge of the hole with something. I will attach a picture to show exactly what it looks like from the inside. Door handle and deadbolt lock are very high quality, sturdy, attractive, and seem to be made to last! The satin nickel finish is gorgeous, and has a clear coating that should help it hold up well to the outdoor elements. The lock is very easy to program, and to set up all your keypad codes and fingerprints. The lock functions perfectly, and unlocks the door flawlessly every time the code is entered or when your fingerprint is scanned. The auto lock feature is very nice, and automatically locks the door at a set time interval from the time you unlock the deadbolt from the inside. The lock mechanism operates very quietly, but you can definitely hear when the door unlocks or locks, which is reassuring when you leave your house or come back inside after being away. So far I am not really sure how good the battery life is for the door lock. It takes four AA batteries, and I used high quality long life batteries, so I am hoping I don’t need to change them too often, but I’m sure the life of the batteries depends a lot on how often the door is locked and unlocked. Overall the purchase of this lockset has been a very good experience for me. I love the appearance, build quality, and functionality of this unit. My old door knob and lock had seen better days and it was time to start looking for a new set. After months of looking, I finally came across this set and I must say I am happy with the craftsmanship and quality. Right out of the box I knew that I had something that was not cheaply made. The finish is very nice and adds great aesthetic to the door once installed. The installation took about two hours and I had one person to help. I would definitely recommend a second person so that someone can help hold on one side when you are using your tools on the other side. But even if you don’t have a second person, it is still not hard to install and I would definitely recommend this product. I liked this product so much that I bought a second set for my front door after first installing this on my back door. When you hit the button to lock the door, the noise is not bad at all and, after you lock it, it will beep to let you know that it is successfully locked. So far so good on the battery life. Although I have not had it long enough to really gauge on battery life. The numbers on the keypad are very easy to read so the readability is great. All in all I recommend this product. All-around great craftsmanship and very happy that it comes with a manufacturer warranty. So if you are looking for a low cost, high-quality door knob and locks than go no further. This set will bring security aesthetic and reliability to your home and give you peace of mind that your home is safe. ... show more

This electric code entry lock was well worth the money. The shipping time was faster than expected and the installation was very simple to install for never having installed an electric lock on a door. All it took was drilling one more hole on the door for installation and the lock fit perfectly and also looks nice. it definitely feels safer in my home and the best part is I can never lock my keys inside my house! I recently hired a locksmith to installed this keypad door lock, and I must say I'm thoroughly impressed. This device combines security and convenience flawlessly. Installation was a breeze; the included instructions were clear, and the mounting process took under 20 minutes. The build quality feels sturdy, assuring me of its durability. What’s different from my prior lock is its range of access options. I love the flexibility of unlocking the door through the fingerprint, keypad entry, or even traditional keys. The app is user-friendly and allows me to grant temporary access to guests or service providers, adding an extra layer of convenience. One concern I had was about battery power outages. Seems the lock is not equipped with a backup power option. Also I am not sure if there will be the low-battery notifications to ensure that I never get locked out unexpectedly? I can use my fingerprint, code, and key to lock and unlock the door. However the instruction does not include the section of how to use your fingerprint and code to lock the door. Hope the manufacturer can add this part in the instruction going forward. Another shortcoming is this product is not associated with an app. So you cannot open/close your door through an mobile device. In terms of aesthetics, the sleek and modern design blends seamlessly with my door, adding a touch of elegance. I like this aspect. Overall, this keypad door lock has met my expectations.
