The door knob has several fancy features. But none of them would make any sense, if it didn't work as a secure doorknob. It actually does that very well.The other feature that I really like is being able to use my thumbprint to unlock and open the door. If you have ever installed a doorknob or replaced one, there will be no surprises. When you install this one, the one unusual step is hooking up the small ribbon cable that goes through the door. It's simple and straightforward. I'm still carrying the key with me for a while until I trust it to work reliably keyless, which it has so far. I'm 100% happy with this upgrade that I made to my front door, and I will recommend it to friends and family too! (That's probably my highest praise for a product like this.)

I’ve had this for maybe a year and a half and had I not had my phone to manually unlock the door from the app outside of the room the door this handle was on, it would have been an inconvenient and costly fix due to finger print and code completely not working, not to mention the charge on the battery is junk. Although I thought this was a great solution this model has too many malfunctions and I can’t take that kind of risk.

I kept it charged, Did all as indicated and suddenly for no reason while I was outside the door locked, decided to reset itself, Locking me outside and costing me lots of money paying for somebody to come and open door for me. This is one of the cheaper options, but ends up being much more expensive in the long run due to it malfunctions. It barely lasted a year and it did not even break, but it made me pay both for installation costs again I’m for The cost both in stress and time of being locked out inside of my house in the middle of the night

This is looks great, very easy to install and program with TUYA App using Bluetooth connection. You can use the App to register the fingerprints, codes and also to open unlock it. Use 2 battery AA, came with 2 keys in case the batteries dies, and also you can connect a external battery using USB to opened in case the battery dies. The fingerprint scan works, but in my case I have to register the same finger twice to make work better. The keypad stop works after a week, don't know why... But then start working again few days later. Overall, it's a great lock, so far so good, and for the price, it's a great choice!

The media could not be loaded. One of these has been installed on our pantry door to prevent our young children from entering and causing a mess. It is conveniently designed and does not significantly hinder the opening of the pantry. It only adds a second or so to the usual time. The safety aspect is particularly appealing as it effectively keeps my children out of the pantry, preventing messes and potential climbing accidents. The aesthetics are pleasing, and the door knob is lightweight. The keypad, fingerprint scanner, and other features function exceptionally well. Assembling the device was straightforward, thanks to the clear and concise instructions provided. Setting the desired code and registering fingerprints was also a simple process.

The door handle has a great look and feel. It is relatively easy to replace an existing door lever. It is VERY helpful to have a physical key for emergencies. The biometric fingerprint works right after programming. But coming back later to use the fingerprint, it does not work, no matter how many times I tried. Reprogramming the fingerprint reader has the same results. Fortunately, I setup a passcode, too. But it is a random passcode generated by the app; not so easy to remember, especially if I have several of these locks (different passcode for each lock). I cannot program my own passcode directly on the lock because it requires the admin fingerprint—which doesn’t work! I installed a different lock that has the same electronics and fingerprint reader as this lock—exactly the same results. I kept the lock installed because of the good things. But now the Bluetooth connection is failing. So it is time to remove the lock and return it. UPDATE: I finally figured out how to use the app to set a passcode of my choosing. So I’ll keep the lock. The fingerprint reader is still useless. Could be my dry hands due to low humidity, but still the reader doesn’t work.
