So this handheld shower head feels like a fan shape. The stem is where the beads go and the fan is where the water comes out. First off, you do not rotate the head. It does not move. One has to click the settings with your right hand and squeeze it to make the setting change. So it just goes in a circle for the options, it does not stop. It is so light, a toddler could hold it. The beads fit in the long stem and you twist the head to the left, remember lefty lefty loosey loosey and righty tighty. Do not make it to tight, you may wear out the head. Make sure you do it with the large part up and do it over a sink, that is plugged first to catch the beads or if you have a bowl and make sure your cat is not in the room with you. Tip, after you finish your shower, shake the beads in the showerhead till the water does not drip anymore and make sure the water is still not in the hose. You do not want mold getting in your shower system. I put this on an existing hose and bracket. My hose had the washers in it. I am not sure what the mean about changing the filter settings, you can change the beads it looks like. I did not feel like these filtered beads helped my skin. I did not see a water saving feature, the cob has this feature and it almost stops the water so you can say wash your hair with out water getting in the way. So to me that was considered water saving. thanks for reading.

The shower head in and of its self is great, got it because I love a rain fall shower head but need something with more force for when I wash my hair or need to rinse the walls. It should have been easy to install, but the connector that attaches to the actual shower striped on the first try and was unusable after that. Thankfully I was able to get another one from Lowes but it should not be so flimsy that the threads break off after the first use.

Granted I have only had this for a couple weeks but I love it. I like the flexible metal cable, it’s lightweight and has several spray modes. I opted not to put in the flow restrictor and it has some great water pressure even on rain shower mode. Instructions are very lackluster, but you can figure it out. Didn’t come with pipe sealing tape, and I hugely encourage you to get some and apply it to the threads of all fixtures or else your bathroom will get drenched. The threads alone are not water tight. Other than that, I like this product just fine.
