With the letter you sent along with the package you said that if I ever have a problem with the umbrella drop you a note on your customer service support line and you’ll send me another one!!!! Something better, more durable, more reliable than the mass market. You wanted to be better than the rest for the sake of the customer!!! This stuck with me. So I purchased it. And by the time it arrived we were still experiencing rain and I got to use my Tumella to my sheer delight. It works perfectly. But all of the above is the lesser reason of why I am writing to you. The envelope you included with the umbrella was so fantastically cute and adorable, I was instantly compelled to write to you. The letter, the font used, the picture of the family, your story of how and why you made this product, was so over the top cute I was thrilled at your extreme desire to make your customer happy. And the fact you were willing to send me a new one if this one somehow stopped performing…just melted me!!!!! This is so very unique in the age of fast, disposable, low quality merchandise. Such a breath of fresh air from an a commercial or industrial viewpoint. I have no idea who you are and I am, of course a total stranger to you. But you, your story, your product, your ability to make a superior product over the rest of the market, and your letter including your beautiful photo of your 5 kids!!! (Are those really all yours???) touched my very heart in a way that has not been done in a long time. Especially by a mass marketed product. Thank you for your product. I ordered 2 Tumella umbrellas back in March for my kids and they have exceeded my expectations! The designs are vibrant and beautiful. There are so many prints to choose from! The umbrella is very durable. It’s very portable and compact. It’s super smooth to open and close. The coverage is great for both children and adults. On top of all this, their customer service is top tier. Recently one of the umbrellas tips broke and the company sent me a replacement. The customer service representative was very attentive to the situation and very quick to respond. I reached out about my umbrella on a Tuesday and received my new replacement that Saturday (only 4 days later!!! Wow!) excellent excellent customer service. The representative followed up with each step (let me know it had shipped and reached out when it was delivered to make sure I was satisfied with the new umbrella. I will be ordering another for myself soon. If you get one expect to receive a ton on compliments on the beautiful design and be assured that you are spending your money on a quality umbrella with customer service that stands behind their product. ... show more

This has to be one of the best (and sturdiest) mini umbrellas I've ever used! I have yet to have it turn inside-out due to wind, which was my biggest pet peeve with every single other umbrella I own. The design on the inside is BEAUTIFUL! It's lightweight, easy to store, and the cover looks great with it, too! I was elated to find out that it's a one-press button to open, and then it closes with the same button which is super convenient. Build is stronger than normal, it is a bit of a pain to put away because of the increased support causing more folds. The umbrella also started to struggle opening like the spring got a bit weak. Overal decent, was good for the rain. I did buy another during my trip that was same sized and less suport and was half the size while callapsed and had a brtter pouch so i ended up just using that the rest of the time. ... show more

Literally the best umbrella I've ever had. It's super sturdy and built for strong wind too. Repels water well and doesn't retain water and stay wet like some I've had before. The auto eject is a really nice feature. I've had mine for two years and still going strong. Also the designs are super crisp and clear and add a nice appeal to a gloomy day. The customer service is super quick and actually "hassle free". My husband has one too and he loves it! It's not too small to shield from the rain nor too big where it feels like a golf umbrella. I haven't used it yet but I bought three of them and based on the build quality it feels extremely durable. A decent size not a "tiny" pocketable umbrella but it's covers a lot of area enough for two small-medium sized people. It's light, and easy to use but does have a lot of resistance when pushing back down to store but in a way that just means the spring it uses is strong.
