Love this rod have it paired with a penn rival could handel my penn 340 if I wanted hauled some snapper off the bottom with it worked great so far no complaints just be aware the butt of the rod is metal can't remember if it came with a butt stop to save your hip but worked fine.

I would hope that no one is buying this because they are a professional fisherman, or are expecting superb quality, however I think some basic functionality would be a fair thing to expect even at $80. Unfortunately missed that mark on that one, the rollers are so far out of alignment from the reel seat (yes the rod is seated into the notch in the handle) and from each other, though not as bad, it will not be usable without a little "custom" work between the rod and handle. It feels pretty rugged, maybe not 120lb worth, but still quite beefy. Otherwise finish and quality is about what you would expect for the price ... show more

This Fiblink heavy duty rod gives you heavy duty performance at a "light" price. It is a 2 piece but it breaks down at the butt section and screws together so you don't lose any power or action. It is a great looking rod and has very comfortable grip. The roller eyes apear made very well. It is made to fit into a fighting belt gimbal if you remov the cover on the butt.
