I have finally got my shipment in of the 12ft Shadow Hunter by BerryPro. It look cool . Extremely light weight. Has a great feel for trying go for distance. I happy that none of the rings was delivered broke cause I seen other comments in reviews. I thinking the 11ft is the with the most issues of this brand. Iam pairing it with a Sougayilang baitcaster reel M# XLT600R and for my line using PowerBraid Ultra Durable BraidedLine 40lb .35mm I will give it a go in 2 weeks. Maybe a bit of overkill going with a 12 foot rod but what the hell this price for IM8 graphite is pretty good, the Rod looks and feels awesome. I have yet to take it fishing because I just got it but I’m very excited to try it out.

I bought two Berrypro 11' surf rods earlier this year. Great for Flounder, Whiting, Bluefish, Pompano, etc. Nice stiff action. Have yet to catch anything of large with it.

I had this rod and the comparable Fiblink rod in my home at the same time. Returned the Fiblink as I felt it was too stiff. The Berry Pro has a slightly faster tip which I think is important for surf fishing so you can detect the bite when in a sand spike. They were both nice rods. The packaging on this rod left a lot to be desired, the 8 x 8 box it was in was basically wide open when the Fed Ex driver dropped it on my doorstep - but it arrived in one piece despite that ... show more

All I can say is WOW!!! This rod has been a heaven sent to me all summer long. I’ve used it to catch small channel and 19-24 inch striper all summer and this weekend I have put this bad boy to the test! Casting 2-4oz sinkers out on 50lb braid over 125+ yards and pulling in MONSTER Blue Catfish!! Bending this rod over, with using dead weight and then fighting tooth and nail and this rod never let me down! You Will not find a better rod for the money in my opinion.
