This is a nice and functional piece of equipment. Overall, I am happy with my purchase. I bought this for a garage gym and it meets my needs. It is rated for 600#. However the design could be better. The handle is functional but I find myself gripping the back element that contacts the floor as this offers more leverage. I think that the device should be a little longer and it should elevate the bar off of the floor a little less high. This would improve leverage. ... show more

    • Simple design for minimal space
My garage gym is small and doesnt have a lot of storage. No assembly required. Having this simple design allows for minimal space to be used for storage. Its really light weight and allows you to quickly add and remove weights. So far Ive used just one to get up to 450lbs on my barbell. I lift one side and add weight then swap to the other. Easy lifted the 200 lbs side. I’m sure it is sturdy enough to add another 100lbs. Definitely worth the money for home gyms. ... show more

I am older and it has been very difficult to load and unload plates. Most of my energy has been spent putting those plates on and taking them off. I got one of those jacks and I was able to lift a PR in deadlift. It was easier to use the jack on the black rigged part of the platform because the wood was slippery. One worked great for me, once I figured out what I was doing. I put the jack in my locker when I’m done so I don’t have to lug it around while doing other exercises. The media could not be loaded. These are a game changer for my small gym. I do not have a barbell stand to change weight. This makes it much easier for me to change weights quickly. I can easy slide under and push down to lift my bar.

I thought that this was a pair of jacks, but it is only a single kack and I had to order another to assist with my deadlifts. It does appear to be quite strong and durable though.
